>Last night on his eponymous Fox News program, Tucker Carlson interviewed David Moyse, an attorney hired to defend 18 year-old Henry Sanchez-Milian, who is in this country illegally, against a charge of rape against a 14 year old girl in a bathroom at a Rockville, MD, high school. Moyse is one of those youngish (in his 30s) lawyers who gets himself on lists of up-and-comers, like this one, and is a name partner in a criminal defense firm.
In going on TV to make the case for his client, Counselor Moyse found himself being cross-examined and saying something he soon had cause to regret. So far as I know, Tucker Carlson has never attended law school, but his questioning skills outpaced the experienced attorney’s ability to answer.

“Man, you better be right about this if you’re going to be impugning the character of a 14-year-old girl who says she was raped,” Carlson exclaimed. “Other people said they heard her screams. To impugn her character, you really before God better be sure that you are on the right side of this.”
Watch Moyse’s eyes, as he realizes that he has just admitted that as a matter of tactics, the victim would be put on trial for her character. And as the notion of putting his soul in jeopardy is broached.
“My only point to you,” the Fox News personality stated. “Have you thought through the moral consequences? I know you play a role and I’m glad that defense lawyers exist. But before you say something like that, do you think, ‘Man, I’m kind of putting my soul on the line a little bit?'”
The entire segment is worth watching:

DAVID MOYSE ATTORNEY FULL ONE-ON-ONE EXPLOSIVE INTERVIEW WITH TUCKER CARLSON (3/23/2017)
Mark Stein filled in for Rush Limbaugh, yesterday. Talking about this case, he commented that the 2 accusers “present” as older than 18, mentioning a program that “identified” them as closer to 24!! Did anyone catch this segment on the show?
THE GIRL IS 14 YEARS OLD. By definition it is rape. GRRRRR
General prosecution would prefer to keep the victim out of it as much as possible. She will be scarred enough.. dragging it out and turning it into something political and hurting this girl more is disgusting and completely despicable. The defense has a right to an attorney but the community and media have no concern for the victim. I hope this girl has support and can stay strong through this. The left is pure evil
How do the perps manage to get a top notch lawyer - do they take the case for the publicity? Infuriating.
Often there is not physical evidence and as any CAC could tell you that means nothing. This attorney should not even BE talking about this in public
“you’d better be right about this”.
may have been the magical TV moment of the month.
Who hired the lawyer? Who is paying him?
Hired by whom?
The burning question is......HOW DID THE "FATHER" GET INTO THIS COUNTRY AND WHERE DID HE GET BIG BUCKS TO PAY FOR THE SERVICES OF THIS LAWYER?
Not much diversity in that law firm.
See my post #10.
just lie for the age you want to be, and the appropriate goods and services will be yours....
Especially if/when they id these animals as being over 21.
“The jacka$$ lost me when he claimed there was no physical evidence of a rape.”
Just following in the footsteps of Harpy O’Smarmalot.
Are they closer to the age of 24? Could be. I bet they don’t have birth certificates.
Lawyers are publicity hogs. A high profile case can make a career.
the lawyer gets redder in the face as the interview goes on; he looks like he is going to hyperventilate after ‘before God’ questioning by Tucker; his words and his demeanor do not match IMHO
Most states have Rape Shield laws now to protect rape victims. And there are always different rules when the victim is a minor. The little girl may be able to testify via video.
Legal action against the perp has actually been shown to mitigate the damage to child sexual abuse victims. The child benefits from being believed and seeing the adults take concrete action on her behalf.
According to the video, the boy's father hired them and the attorney refused to say who is paying.
