The media has become so predictable, I’m beginning to think even the dimmest of bulbs know that the media will say or do anything to oppose Trump.
I heard that the Media has a lower approval rating than Congress. That kind of cynicism of the press is pretty much the final nail in the coffin for mainstream media. Nobody really cares anymore to tune in and be told what “Dan Rather” has to say...

From what I can glean of the proceedings -- Trump was honestly enough trying to work with Congress through the Speaker of the House. That's Constitutional, isn't it? I would say it is. How else? By Presidential decree? We can't have that...
Ryan is left holding the bag. Trump has some fingerprints on that bag -- but only "I'm willing to" fingerprints.

And thus the next deal will make everyone wish Ryancare had passed. To bring Democrats in that will mean more government spending and a stronger move toward a single payer, government run system. You won’t get any Democrats without it. They are too far to the Left.
But by then they might have completely destroyed this presidency anyway, so it really won’t matter.
Regardless of what Ryan said today, the people who have invested years in trying to reverse Obamacare will not give up. They will still face the same 60 vote hurdle in the Senate that probably doomed the Trump-Ryan approach.
We'll see if something can yet be done in reconcilation. And we'll need to see if HHS can address some problems through regulation. This fight isn't over. The issue isn't going away.
