Steve Bannon HATES Ryan. Something to keep in mind as this unfolds.

And POTUS no doubt hates the freedom caucus since they went AWOL when the bullets were flying. Something to keep in mind as they are left in the dust and Trump teams up with Ryan on other issues.

If you started "Art of the Deal"? And put it down after, like, page 4? Pick it up and finish it...

Really? How about quoting the part that turns this into a win for him?

Expect the same dog and pony show with “tax reform”

It aint gonna happen.

I am done with these friggin pukes.

OH. It’ll get done. Probably with Democrat votes. “Conservatives” will rue the day they knee capped a POTUS like this.

They bought and paid for their own annihilation.

Next stop: The Republicans will enact single payer, nationalized healthcare.

I say he wanted it killed, because Ryan & friends had money coming out of it. Ryan is 120% WHORE.....just like Mitch McConnell

You are day dreaming. Trump wanted this. Right or wrong he wanted it. Beltway Conservatives went AWOL and dissed a sitting Potus. Now they/we will be marginalized and pay the price.

If/when Obamacare goes under, the GOP might get the blame - especially if they fail to fund it. We don’t know what will happen in 2018 because if Republicans get blame for its failure or people feel they wasted their vote on Republicans because Republicans couldn’t govern and keep their promises, it may not get repealed then.

The GOP will just pump up the insurance industry subsidies and keep kenyancare afloat. Except now with a bipartisan seal. Outstanding.

They probably will and will blamed if it goes under for not doing it when they couldn’t come up with a plan themselves. I heard Trump speak today. He said he hopes they can do a bipartisan bill in the future. Well, if people thought the bill was too far to the left with Ryan, imagine when the Democrats get in there. The Freedom Caucus will not get what they got this time that they deemed wasn’t enough.

Single payer is the mid-term outcome, and nobody can stop that.

Ryan and the House Republicans had a chance and pissed it away.

Hundreds will run, and win, on Single payer in 2018, D and R. And Trump will be a vocal champion.

You can bet all you got that the high cost of healthcare delivery is a direct result of government interference.

I am glad to hear someone else talking about government interference with health care delivery as the basis for runaway healthcare costs.

Here is an actual example of bad this is: I got an annual checkup last May. The doctor billed Medicare $150.00. They paid him $7.00. My supplemental plan requires me to file a claim with them for the copay; they won't take a claim from the doctor. I filed the claim and they paid me $70.00. The doctor's billing service is not setup to handle this situation so they failed to bill me for the copay. Bottom line is Medicare -$7.00, doctor +$7.00, insurance company -$70.00, me +$70.00. I thinkl I'll go see the doctor more often.

Why would POTUS ever line up again with the Freedom Caucus after they went AWOL? I was no fan of Ryancare but the alternative(s) were MUCH worse. Now beltway conservatives are going to eat their peas. And not just on health care. Big time.

Political suicide and impossible because the Dems would block it in the Senate.

The media, even squishy conservative commentators and pundits, are busy cluck-clucking and blaming the President, or blaming the conservative Republican Freedom bloc or blaming the moderate Republican bloc for the bill being pulled.

This is driving me nuts !

The narrative MUST be corrected at every opportunity...and WE have to do it here, also!

There were approx 10 Republican holdouts....BUT THERE WERE ALSO 193 DEMOCRATS (EVERY SINGLE DEMOCRAT MAN AND WOMAN IN THE HOUSE !!!!) WHO WOULD HAVE VOTED "NO".

All 193 Democrats AGAINST (a fact) plus an estimated 10 Republicans also AGAINST. Do the math !!! No way the bill would have passed.

President Trump rightly pulled it.

Stick the Democrats with the CrapobamaCare they love so much !!!

We must keep pounding on the fact that the united DEMOCRATS torpedoed the bill...and NOT A SINGLE ONE would have crossed over to support it.

I'm putting this factoid in my tag line so that freepers and other readers know and keep being reminded who REALLY deserves the blame when ObamaCare implodes down the pike....and all the Dem party faithful and all the uninformed gimmedats start crying over their out-of-sight health care bills and deductibles.

I didn’t. I want an obamacare repeal and then, and only then, can we then look at what’s next. Sure, it will be hell in the meantime, but you gotta break some eggs to make an omelette.

Yep. Not unless the rules are changed, and people who are celebrating and asking for a full repeal are now getting nothing...except Obamacare.

Trump himself said he would like to do a bipartisan bill when Obamacare collapses. If the Democrats get involved in that, the Freedom Caucus will have little to no voice because their votes won’t be necessary.

That was phase 3 of this process. They couldn’t do a full repeal without 60 in the Senate.
