OUTLOOK LOOKING BLEAK FOR GOP ON 'OBAMACARE' REPEAL BILL

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Republicans' capstone health care overhaul seemed in dire trouble Friday as Speaker Paul Ryan weighed strategy at the White House with President Donald Trump. GOP lawmakers and aides said they lacked the votes to succeed in the House, just hours before a do-or-die showdown demanded by Trump.

GOP leaders pushed toward a climactic House roll call, but their promise to stage the vote increasingly looked like a losing gamble for the new president and his GOP allies in Congress.

No word on the what and why, just the who and the when, at the moment.

Top of my head says Nunes or whatever his name is, the INTEL chairman, has caused some squirming at the FBI, maybe.

Comey didn’t come off well at the hearing a few days ago, with either party on the committee. Nunes rather exposed Comey when Comey said that Trump’s tweets had no bearing, or some such, that Obama had not wire tapped Trump.

Rush is saying this new bill will allow Price to make all kinds of changes because of the “as the secretary may direct” line. That line is already in Obamacare. Why can’t Price gut it now?

That’s how we got Obamacare in the first place.

The GOP lost so many seats, they could not stop Obamacare.

When the RATs take power again, get ready for more entitlements.

I, obviously, haven't read Ryan's folly. It never did sound like a good deal from the get-go.

Ryan staked his claim on this and, from my perspective, did this to thwart Trump.

MAYBE RYAN WILL GET HIS JUST DESSERTS IF/WHEN THIS FIASCO FAILS.

Trump should not have gone along with Ryan on this one. He was probably told that this was the best he could get and that a full on repeal is not possible to pass. Trump should remember why the people of this country elected him, and it wasn’t to listen to advice on how to play nice with Paul Ryan. Repeal first, and find solutions to clean up the mess after. It’s the will of the people. This is a complete display of crony capitalism once again. Hospital systems across the US have invested billions of dollars in computer infrastructure to implement Obamacare that will all go down the drain if it is repealed, so they are lobbying congress hard, to keep it in place at the expense of the American people. We have a great new president but nothing will change until we enact congressional term limits that end the corruption in DC...end rant.

The laughable Ass. Press again. The “outlook” is looking “bleak” because it IS NOT A BILL TO REPEAL OBAMACARE. Idiots!

OH, NO! The GOP-e touched the third rail!

Oh, woe is us, we are undone forever and ever, how may we ever show our faces again?

Does this mean that the GOP-e will not be invited to cocktail parties ever again?

We may only hope....

The next issue on the agenda is tax reform. Obamacare was passed as a “tax” according to the Dread Pirate Roberts so it can be repealed in a tax bill.
Simple!

I don’t understand why we have to replace a bad program with another bad program. All I want to be able to do is purchase a affordable catastrophic insurance plan and pay for the occasional office visit myself.

Steny Hoyer is on FOX right now squeaking about how he wants the GOP to sit down with the Bolsheviks and fix the “wildly popular” and “wildly successful” Affordable (Free) Care Act to “make it work”. He acts like he drunk or on drugs.

The outlook is not bleak for the GOP but for those who are NWO turncoats. AP and the rest of the news still does not understand the political mood in this country. It is too painful and bleak for them to admit. They are under the delusion that people will turn back to them and the Dems again. They are dead!

No Secretary is going to make any changes that some judge doesn’t think should be made. Even regarding a demon rat passed law that is plain in its language. Sorry Rush is slipping so.

In 2015 both houses of congress voted to repeal zerocare.
Pass that bill again THEN worry about any sort of replacement...

I do not want to wait for zerocare to collapse: that would take a lot of good folks down with it and leave chaos.

That said,Congress will have to mandate a few things, set some guidelines because a wild wild west mentality will really jerk folks around. But we do not need the massive bureaucracies that have been put in place...they can simply go.

Fox is saying some moderates are dropping off because some last minute changes were made to make some conservatives happy. Hannity (radio show right now) is saying it is not going to pass.

Ryan’s bill needs to go into the trash can and he needs to step down as Speaker.
