Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., is under investigation by the Justice Department.
The House Ethics Committee released a statement saying it was deferring consideration of the matter after being asked to do so by the Justice Department, a move that signals that department is running its own probe.
The committee said it first received a referral on Hunter from the Office of Congressional Ethics last August. The committee voted unanimously on Wednesday to defer the matter after being asked to do so by the Justice Department.

Duncan Hunter was one of my favorite voices in the wilderness when I lived in insane California. He is a God-Fearing rational masculine male; he is despised by the sodomite, insane Marxists who want to flip 2000 years of ethics back to the Man-Boy “Love” of the Spartans and todays muslims who have boy harems. Truth has been banned (vilified) since 1960s in America.
With the evil, vile SCOTUS, we have made our “Justice” system into a Vice System—which it is now-—until we again base our “Justice System” on the Lockean Philosophy which founded the Constituiton and our “Just Laws” which have to promote “public virtue” to be a “Just” law.
Now, our laws are irrational and pretend to promote Marx’s utopia where the concept of Christianity and mother and father is obsolete—as is Truth and Reason and Logic (all Western Christian concepts which created the USA).
We now destroy people who promote Virtue and Goodness and Sanity—and we glorify the sodomite, the baby-killers, the haters, and the Fascists who do not allow Freedom of Speech or Thought. Evil is Good and Good is Evil in this Vice System. Lies and disinformation if all that Common Core is and all Classical Christian curricula is banned in skools. Children are programmed to be irrational, ignorant interchangeable drones for the State/corporations.
If Trump and Gorsuch don’t RESTORE our Constitutional Republic-—and a TRUE “Justice” (virtue) System is RETURNED, based on Classical Christian Ethics and Right Reason according to Natural Laws which are unalienable and come ONLY from God-—we are Gone.

As another post said - read the article. I sure hope he is smarter than this. If he did any of these things, we’ve all misjudged him and his character.

Hunter’s local paper, the San Diego Union Tribune, previously reported that the former Marine may have violated House rules when he secured a loan to repay his campaign almost $50,000 for personal expenses that he billed in possible violation of campaign finance laws.
