The White House gave the House Freedom Caucus a final offer as it tries to win support for a bill to repeal and replace parts of Obamacare, but the conservative group's leader said no deal was reached by Thursday afternoon.
The lack of an agreement throws more doubts on a planned Thursday night vote on the legislation. The conservative contingent has threatened the bill's passage, as its members have said the GOP plan does not go far enough to repeal the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.
President Donald Trump met with the contingent earlier as he and House GOP leaders aim to rally enough support. Following the meeting, though, Freedom Caucus chairman Rep. Mark Meadows told reporters "there are not enough votes" to push the legislation through yet.

Repeal. Only.
It should be the other way around - Freedom Caucus should present THEIR demands to Ryan (and Trump) about what should be in the bill - or simply say WE WILL VOTE NO.
Decisions become easy - when you have principles.
How long before some here deride these same Reps that fought against the Establishment in recent years simply because they won’t rubber stamp OBcare-lite?
I wonder how many more “final” offers there will be.
They’ve assured us that repeal/replace will come in three stages. I suggest that they pass a vote on Stage 3 first, just to humor us, and write poison pills into 1 and 2 that trigger if the follow on stages don’t occur in a timely fashion. Just to humor us.
It just doesn’t work that way.
You mean the freedom caucus that put RINO Ryan as the speaker of the house?
Let the people see this socialism. We want to read it!! Last night there “was a deal” . The only thing left was drafting language. I speculate the the Rinos killed the DEAL!!! Paul Ryan killed the DEAL!!
My spidey senses tell me things were not as terse as we're supposed to believe.
The offer will be “Vote yes or I will schedule rallies in each of your home districts from now until the next primary and guess what we will be talking about?”
I agree, Trump wants to force this to a vote, now. It matters not so much what’s in it because the real hurdle will come in the Senate and in the new legislation to follow in phase 3 (including cross-state sales, etc). Whatever the House passes will be changed, probably a lot, but they will have passed it, and then it’s a matter of negotiating changes.
But this is tantamount to walking away from the negotiating table. You present your best and final offer and then you wait for the other guy to respond.
Art of the deal!
It takes all Congressional Republicans to choose a new speaker.
It's been going on here all morning & afternoon. Lots are OK with a significant amount of Obamacare remaining as long as they can declare "victory".
Watching Sean Spicer trip all over himself trying to avoid the particulars of this disaster!
This contains NO REPEAL!
Interesting that those of us holding Trump to his campaign promise of a full repeal are the ones being castigated. Where’s the outrage at Trump trying to feed us a crap sandwich?
I can tell you this: the first official NO from a Republican was announced today...the liberal Miami media is drooling with glee. Ileana Ros-Lehitenen is a BIG TIME RINO. So while I do applaud the Freedom Caucus, the fact that RINOs don’t like it seems good to at least a degree.
Night vote?
What the Hell?
If these morons can’t accomplish their jobs during normal business hours they need to be canned.

Funny, I don’t remember Trump ever telling us this repeal would be done in “Three Stages.” Can someone point me to where Trump said this during the campaign?
I don't see how any (and I mean any) over-all replacement bill, including straight repeal, passes both the House and Senate.
Keep in mind it took Obama ~ 15 months to get the monstrosity to his desk to sign (and it took 2 bills to get one through)
If this all falls apart, isn't there just one or two regulations (to start with ) that ~ nearly all Republicans can agree to get rid of?
Isn't there anything? Just One regulation???
Ryancare is not repeal.
Rearranging is not what we voted for.
Sure wish we could get a more reliable source on this than CNBC (Counterfeit & Nothing But Counterfeit).
I think the Freedom Caucus is trying to defeat the vote for this RINOcare bill. Is that right?
