Speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill Wednesday, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes revealed a number of American citizens who worked on the Trump transition team were monitored, surveilled and unmasked by the intelligence community during the previous Obama administration. Although the monitoring was legal, it was certainly inappropriate. Information collected on these individuals was then widely disseminated, despite being irrelevant to ongoing investigations into Russia.

Nunes revelation comes three weeks after President Trump claimed President Obama wiretapped Trump Tower. There hasn't been any evidence of wiretapping, but the White House argues Trump was referring to overall surveillance of his campaign, not specifically wiretapping. Nunes will brief President Trump about his findings this afternoon.
Looks like everyone else is a liar and not Trump.
Also, Fox News better be very careful with Judge Napolitano. They probably have a very honest, very detail oriented, very correct person on suspension.

“Wiretapped” in parentheses is a necessary abbreviation on Twitter due to the 140 character limit of addressing any variety of intercept, surveillance, etc.
They have always known that, and I’ve always been certain that they were using a precise definition to escape admitting to this truth.
Comey has said there’s no indication that Trump was wiretapped. Now this. He is dirty, a liar, and he should be fired for cause today.

It was printed on the front page of the NYT and mentioned as a transcript. Do they think a Seer got this mystical information?

Why? I just re-watched Comey’s answer to one question about whether Trumps tweets were correct, and Comey’s response was “I have no information that supports those tweets, and we have looked carefully inside the FBI”.
So now let’s analyze and parse, Clinton-style:
1. “I” - not “we” or “the FBI”. Plausible deniability. Comey said he personally has no informaton, not that such information doesn’t exists even inside the FBI.
2. “Supports those tweets” - refers to the specific language Trump used. This could get into another set of minutia, but for example, it could be the definition of “wiretap” vs. some other form of surveillance, the previous discussion about whether Obama “ordered” it, etc. Lots of loopholes.
3. “looked carefully”. That’s a weasel-word just like saying “as far as I know” or “to my best knowledge”. If such evidence becomes known in the future Comey would not be accused of lying, just of not “looking carefully” enough.
Comey’s a lawyer and you don’t get to be head of FBI without being not only smart but also shrewd. He knows many things we can’t even guess at, including other investigations that may be ongoing that intersect with this one. He also knows testimony before Congress must be factual, but that does not prevent him from choosing his words very carefully, which I’m certain he did.
Comey serves at the pleasure of the president, and Pres. Trump should stop being pleased as of 22 March 2017.

This is covered. As Trump himself pointed out, “wire tapped” was in quotes in his original tweet - not meant to be taken literally, but as a general euphemism for surveillance.
Looking back over four months....trying to imagine a Bush-administration, Reagan-administration, or Nixon-administration trying to go forward against this type of news media....they would have all fallen flat. Trump has outplayed every single game that’s been played. It’s like some white board exists in the White House and lays out the 350-odd traps and the plan-A detail how to avoid all traps.
It’s good they were “monitored” and not spied on.
