“Obama, McCain, Hillary, Graham and Rubio thought it was better to have chaos in Libya than a dictator.”

That is exactly where the blame goes.

“Any American government official who had a hand in that ill conceived policy should be in prison for life or waiting their final appointment on death row .”

Agreed. Anything less reduces the Nuremberg trials to a mere popularity contest. ‘Waging aggressive warfare’ and ‘crimes against peace’ don’t provide exceptions for globalist elites.

“Libya wasn’t a threat to anyone. They had opened their weapons arsenal for UN inspections.”

In one of the few worthwhile accomplishments of the W administration, Qaddaffi had actually been turned into a US asset to monitor and act against Moslem jihadist groups. I think that is the reason he was murdered rather than merely ousted. And of course, the work was underway by the Obamamunist-neocon alliance to use jihadists as proxies in the near future. The propaganda to justify that nauseating alliance’s crimes continue to this day.

“Agreeing with factual information that comes from Russian sources doesn’t make you a Putin supporter. That’s a tactic the liberals use when they can’t argue the facts.”

Yes, it is.

“No, I’m a principled man supporting freedom. Do you have a poster of him so you can lick his bum?”

No. You are a boiler room troll for globalist aggressions.

Your scant significance barely exceeds persuasive ability.

Whoever is paying you is being cheated.

You’ve indicated before you’re all in for putin, so why should I bother.

Was putin’s pal Kim in the article? I didn’t see the taliban either. Using your logic (sic) that was inconsistent too.

Were you for Kaddafy when he was killing Americans? How about Assad? How about Saddam?

Short version of everything elhombrelibre posts:

Because you disagree with me then you’re a Russian spy!

He plays the same hyperbolic attacks the left uses endless against Trump but his target is fellow freepers. He’s the poster child for why all #nevertrumpers should be purged from the right for their attempt to get Hillary elected.

People get wrapped up in the idea it was Khadaffi, and of course we all have our beefs with him. Still, if the guy had toned down his rhetoric and things were level headed in Libya, why should we help rock the boat when you never know what comes next.

It was stable. Leave well enough alone.

I agree with your take on the mode used for disagreement here, unfortunately.

You already know the answer to that.

Libya is not better off today.

If you have something to counter that, please do as I asked and provide information about it.

Insinuations and insults aren’t the way to win folks to your way of thinking.

Provide some information that supports your premise. Specifically, what is your premise?

So far it only seems you’re interested in accusing people of being fans of Putin and Khadaffy.

Bud, I’ve got no axe to grind with you. If you can show me where the article is wrong, I’ll be glad to see it. If you can’t, please accept that it is right until proven otherwise.

If it’s raining outside and this publication says, “It’s wet out!”, do you refuse to admit it, because you think it’s directly from Putin’s mouth?

If it’s wet out, it’s wet out. I don’t care if Putin said it was or not.

I’m not convinced that every word of this article is from Putin himself.

You believe this?

"Before the "revolution", the Libyan government used oil revenues to subsidize a whole range of social benefits for its citizens." [Gee, must have been a swell place.]

"The U.S. and Europe are now having a panic attack because Islamic extremists no longer control two key oil ports in Libya." [It's not even on the American radar. I don't know anyone having a panic attack. You may.]

"And the notion that Washington cares at all about what "belongs" to the Libyan people is laughable." [Keep in mind this is KGB putin's propaganda organ talking about the present president of the United States, right?]

"The entire country belongs to the Libyan people." [This from the putinista press? They're constantly indifferent to their own people's short life span and to the idea of Russians or others owning their own fate under law. But you buy into this poppycock?]

Once again, absolutely nothing of substance...

You’re on the attack again.

Do you know what substance means?

Provide some articles talking about how good it is in Libya now. It could contain standard of living talk. It could contain business talk. It could contain talk of how much happier the people are. There are plenty of other indicators that get reported on when they are good. Find some and post something that conflicts with the article.

Prove it wrong, or at least raise the question with something of substance.

I said no such thing, but nice deflection, or at least attmpt to do so..

What I said, because I remember the conversation, is that I see no reason in viewing Putin as an adversary until he provides a good reason to. That he is their duly elected President under his countries rules and he should receive that kind of respect. As Reagan said trust but verify. I certainly would rather have a working relationship with Russia than one that is antagonistic. That is quite different than saying I am all in for Putin.

I see nothing different than our relationship to China, who I see as a far bigger threat than Russia. Does not mean I think we can ignore Russia, but I see absolutely no benefit with having a bellicose attitude towards them. Especially when it comes to this trumped up charge of Russian involvement in our election. Offered without a shred of proof I might add, and if they did that their attempt was effective at all. We, the United States, have done far worse acts to affect the outcome of elections in foreign countries.

So now tell us where the fake news is, because I honestly do not see it.

Some people are true believers in the cult of Putin Is Satan And Russia is the USSR and Will Always Be Evil.

I ignore them unless they address, and even then...

They absolutely cannot be reasoned with, any more than any members of a cult.
