TRUMP TOWER: SECRET SERVICE THEFT CAUGHT ON VIDEO Thief Knew What He Was After

The thief who swiped a Secret Service agent’s laptop targeted the agent in question and knew exactly what he was after ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

Our sources say the thief -- whom they say is a man -- was caught on surveillance video pulling up to the agent's driveway in an Uber at around 3 AM Thursday. The video shows the man make a beeline for the agent's car, removing a backpack with the computer inside and then walking off. As we reported, the hard drive contained Trump Tower floor plans and evacuation protocols, but the agency insists there was no classified info inside.

The thief also made off with a passport and several Secret Service lapel pins. It's unclear what the thief was looking for if all the content was non-sensitive. We're told the video is grainy so it's hard to make out the thief's features, but it's definitely a lead.

The “thief” got out of a car, maybe Uber. Then car drives off, and “thief” walks off.

Weird.

"I read the agent was a woman..?"

Of course it was - they leave all kinds of things in their cars....(except gasoline, right guys?)

My understanding of the Chevy Malibu is that was the vehicle that pulled up to the agent’s driveway from which the suspect exited before taking the backpack that contained the laptop. Did I say that right?

The suspect got out of a Malibu that had pulled up to the home.

USA Today has the vehicle listed as a motorcycle in this article.http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2017/03/17/laptop-secret-service-employee-stolen/99316412/

At least one article said the bag also contained an access key or something to that effect.

Is this from an article? I’d like to read it, or did you hear/see someplace else?

I don’t know about that. If it was a trap and the trap was properly planned and executed the firing would be faked.

Every SS agent is most likely spied upon by other countries’ agents.

In this case, the other country is the DNC and the Clintons.

Does the laptop have tracking software?

The work laptops where I am at had software on them at one time and when several were stolen by the cleaning crew, some of the laptops showed up in Vietnam.

We now use PGP to encrypt the hard drive.
I wonder if the gov’t uses something similar but I am guessing not.

True. There isn’t a lot of info about this person on the internet. Maybe it is a fake name

These laptops are given to agents with drives already encrypted. Unless the thief knew the passphrase, he wouldn’t be able to even boot up.

"Nah, not true. Computer gurus here have said the way it could be done."

I'd have to see some evidence of that to believe it.

What are the odds that the agent is a rabid Anti-Trumper?

Immeasurable rot, corruption and treason.

The Secret Service is obviously totally rotten along with every other gov agency/department/bureau etc.
