... Kaepernick, who opted out of his San Francisco 49ers contract, still doesn't have a job.

Maybe he shouldn't have opted out of his contract with the 49ers in the first place.

Before ESPN complains about NFL teams not hiring Kaepernick, ESPN should rehire Curt Schilling.

Kaepernick would be a marginal hire at best. With all the baggage he brings, no deal. He will alienate far more fans than he will delight. He’s just too much of a risk.

Interesting that Kapernik is not compared to Tim Tebow.
In both cases their athletic and QB ability is in the top 40 in the country, but not the top 20.
In both cases, they did things that shifted attention from the game to their personal on field, non-game actions.

That is where the comparison could start. Then the comparison could go wherever the writer wanted. But nobody is making the obvious comparison, why?

The fact that Spike Lee feels negatively about this fills me with assurance that I hold the absolutely 100% morally correct view of this issue.

Is still an NFL Europe? If so, then maybe some team would like a Chia Pet mascot. Perfect for him.

If you suck at your stated profession you don’t get hired.

The NFL is in it to make money.
The slimeball Kaepernick is cutting into their profits.
They are perfectly right to avoid him.

" Kaepernick will stand for the national anthem during the 2017 season..."

A humbled and heartfelt reformation might be one thing, not being a good QB any more is another.

They play for high stakes in the NFL and Colin Kaepernick's time is done. He's as significant as last week's gallon of milk now.

Were it not for the NFL’s short lived fancy of the Option Offense and the Wildcat formations, Kaepernick likely would have never played a down as an NFL QB.

Spike Lee thinks he’s going to shame Johnson & Johnson heir and close Trump buddy Woody Johnson into hiring a cop hater (see Kaepernick’s “cops are pigs” socks) as the face of Johnson’s billion dollar NFL franchise.

Uh huh. Right. Keep telling yourself that, Spike.
