The Kentucky senator told ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos on This Week Sunday that the Republican-led Congress should repeal Obamacare in its entirety.
He says the current bill, which is set for a vote Thursday in the House, doesnt go far enough. Theyre going to repeal part of it and leave in place all of the stuff that causes your insurance rates to go through the roof, Paul said.

I understand the limitations of the political process in Washington, but Sen. Paul's point here is exactly why it never made any sense to pass the Ryan bill in Congress in the first place.
If Congress can't figure out how to pass an Obamacare repeal and/or replacement bill that actually saves people money, then they're wasting everybody's time.
After you have moved on with this, deal with President Trump's Budget, and National Reciprocity (2nd Amendment).
And pass the House version of National Reciprocity, not the Senate’s.
‘there are enough conservatives that dont want Obamacare lite.’
I hope he’s right. Stand firm against the GOPe, conservative remnant!
Rand Paul is just whizzed off because he wants HIS plan to be used... Napoleon wants to be the hero. Get a stool and stand up with the people and the president we elected.
We were promised complete repeal. Do not count on “Phases 2 and 3” (per Sen Cruz) to fix obamacare lite.
“We were promised complete repeal”
You were promised repeal and replace.
“Rand Paul is just whizzed off because he wants HIS plan to be used...”
He was saying he was against bailouts since he was running for Senate in 2010. He is being consistent and opposing what he has always opposed.
Kill the bill. Repeal or bust!
“Theyre going to repeal part of it and leave in place all of the stuff”
I listen to Rand Paul, then I listen to this:

And it clearly seems that Rand Paul doesn’t know what he is talking about.
You forgot the title of your YouTube (I wonder why?):
"Speaker Paul Ryan at the NR Institute Interview and discussion | President Trump Repeal and Replace"
You listen to RINO Paul; I'll listen to Rand.
Ryan tries to gloss over one of the most destructive aspects of Obamacare: "guaranteed issue." I didn't watch the whole thing so I don't know if he addressed a second destructive aspect of Obamacare, but keeping the prohibition against lifetime coverage limits in place isn't going to save anyone any money at all.
If an auto insurance company has to insure you no matter how bad a driver you are, and they have to guarantee to replace your car in the event of an accident without any limit on the purchase price of a new car, you can be damn sure it's going to be a very expensive insurance policy.
But Rich Lowry & Paul Ryan do?

“without any limit on the purchase price of a new car”
I’m no expert on healthcare but I believe this issue is resolved with the high risk pools that Ryan talks about in the interview I posted.
Look, the cost of insurance will come down with the new plan. Ryan is working closely with the insurance companies, the CEO’s were in the oval office the other day, etc. Everybody will get what they want. You’ll see.
There is no repeal, all of the agencies created by Obamacare remain as does the control of medical records.
It’s rearranging.
You were promised repeal and replace.”
What are they going to replace it with that is not socialized medicine?
Hey I don’t really like Ryan or Lowry. I’m just listening to both sides and the critics can’t seem to get beyond the talking points about repealing “stuff” and voting on a “clean” bill. I don’t know what the hell they are talking about and neither do they.
The problem is demographics. There are just too many Baby Boomers entering their 70s who are going to be needing a disproportionate amount of health care due to their age. They all vote and they all want pre-existing conditions covered.
