My mom used to just buy a big jug of vinegar from Costco and pour that on the weeds coming through the cracks in the drive. Thanks for posting what you did - a gardener was on F&F recently and he suggested something similar (or possibly the same) but I didn’t write it down. I wonder if it would work on dandelions without killing the grass or nearby plants.

I love dandelions! Makes great wine and jelly! Pick the flower and drink daily as a tea and it cleanses the system as well as the young leaves. I always look forward to dandelion season.

One simple way to get rid of dandelions is to not mow the lawn during their season. It prevents seeds from resowing. Dandelions open only when there is sunlight. The tall grass will prevent them from opening because it would block sunlight.

As for the existing plants, pull up by the root (roast root for coffee)then pour your killing solution where the root was to soak the root sections left in the ground.
