I was thinking that there was a rule in the Senate that one could not speak ill of the President or another Senator - am I mis-remembering? Glad I’m not listening, I CANNOT STAND Chuck U. Schumer/Shyster.

You are correct. The problem is Senator Byrd is not around any more to see those rules are enforced.

The one and only thing I admired in Senator Byrd is he did believe in protocol and senate rules.
