Good Morning DEPLORABLES!!
I’m late this morning. I’ve been ordering beautiful fabric from Australia and the Netherlands for my quilting. I just can’t find it in the USA. My hubby won’t be happy when he sees the credit card bill, but he’ll get over it when he orders more roses and flower bulbs. HA!
My hubby? Fishing equipment.
I also cook for my dog. Steam the meat in the rice steamer while cooking the grains in the bottom pot. I grow vegetables which I later either can or dehydrate for winter use.
On Fridays my dog is “Catholic”. I give her a can of Salmon or Mackerel.
Sounds great! I like the combination of balsamic and cider vinegars in it.
I wonder if i could grow red cabbage here... the green stuff grows really well.
Here’s the recipe I’ve used for years - I got it from the old Betty Crocker red-and-white checked cookbook. But it’s not acidic enough for my taste, plus the white vinegar is pretty harsh so I added cider vinegar until it seemed right.

I have to make my problem-cat homemade food. She’s allergic to grains and then developed struvite crystals. All the food for urinary issues are loaded with grains and all the grain-free food back then was high in phosphorus and magnesium.
Luckily she’s a good eater, so it hasn’t been a problem. I’m sure it’s lots cheaper than the grain-free food or the C/D prescription food, even after buying all the supplements to add to the meat.

After the first 3-4 days on Weight Watchers there is no hunger or cravings. The only way I have been successful is to maintain a food journal and write down everything eaten..
