UPDATE: White House Tells All VA Facilities to Hang President's Portrait

The White House issued a directive to all VA facilities, instructing them to hang a portrait of President Trump, Ed Henry reported this morning.

"Fox & Friends" has reported on this all week after Republican congressman and Army veteran Brian Mast hung a portrait of President Trump and Secretary of Veterans Affairs David Shulkin at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center.

The pictures were then taken down by staffers, with one reportedly declaring that President Trump was not his president.

Mast and local veterans spoke out against the move, though the management argued there was a protocol for hanging the photos and they'd need to be authenticated.

They had Obama’s picture up pretty quickly at VA Long Beach...but he always seemed to have a piece of gum or something stuck to his nose.

I wish I could help check for the presence of portraits, but outside the Senate office Buildings and a couple military check in gates, I can’t tell you if I’ve ever been inside a US Government office

Trump should have said nothing about the lack of a portrait and quietly found out who removed or refused to hang them and fired them.

Trump needs to treat subordination harshly, IMO.

Yes, my President, too. I think every “staffer” at the VAs across the nation must take an oath of allegiance, not different from what we used to take every morning in school.

The snowflakes at the VA must go and be gone permanently and that includes staffers and management.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and for the first time in my life am being properly and appropriately treated. I have a life again and it is due to the VA doctors here in Pittsburgh. They are competent and treat people very well. Politics and voting patterns are never discussed and that is appropriate.

I, as a veteran, want all those quislings fired. There are many, many people who want jobs and are qualified to work for the VA as “staffers” and medical personnel to fill the empty slots.

Trump is my president come hell or high water. He is a good man and will do well by us if he isn’t overwhelmed by media lies and the lies of so-=called associates.

Yes, he does.

I am afraid that by being too lenient on the Hag and others whose insubordination is becoming more obvious, he has looked weak. I recommend no more “nice guy” until the house is swept clean...if that is possible.
