I Asked My Amazon Echo A Question About Our Government, And The Answer Terrified Me
QPOLITICAL ^ | 3-10-2017

Conspiracy theories on the internet are a dime a dozen. However some of them are proving to be more true than some would like to believe.

Ever since the book 1984 was released, portions of the public were made aware of an all pervading sense of dread that somehow some way their government was listening to them. There’s multiple levels to this fear. Traffic light cameras, or just increased cameras on street corners offers police a vantage point they didn't have before, but again the general public is under constant watch of a government who presumably only watches over them to keep them safe.

We have been conditioned to accept phones with microphones that always stay on, laptops with cameras and microphones, digital cable, and smart TVs. Now we have devices like Amazon Echo that are constantly listening for us to ask them questions. Is there anything deeper past this? Could the Amazon Echo be collecting data for intelligence agencies like the CIA? Watch this video and draw your own conclusion.

There are a couple of set up questions, asking Alexa, if 'she' would ever lie to you. Of course the answer is an honest 'No.'

There are some videos out there where Alexa is asked if she works with the CIA, and this question prompts a shutdown. In this video, Alexa answers with a 'No.'

Then when asked if Amazon works with the CIA, this question did result in a shutdown.

Here's where it gets interesting.

Amazon is renowned for its Cloud hosting services. For those that may not know, Cloud hosting is simply a term for storing information offsite, digitally. In short it makes for storing information very reliable, and very quickly accessed.

Amazon holds a $600 million dollar contract with the CIA, and all 16 other intelligence agencies for all of their cloud hosting. This is helping all agencies share information, so breakdowns don't happen that would potentially allow another 9/11 level event take place.

One can see the benefits of these people needing to be on the same page with each other, but the recent CIA leaks prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, that these types of devices are being used to spy on regular citizens.

Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos, also owns the Washington Post, which makes it possible to speculate that the paper is a clearing house for in the intelligence community.

Have an Echo? Try this experiment for yourself. Be amazed. Then sell it.

You are behind. Look up Google DeepMind and what it can now do without any training or specific instructions from humans. Watch the videos of how it started playing simple video games like “Space Invaders” and how quickly it taught itself to master that and then other, far more complex games. Things are moving very quickly now.

Hell, 99% of programmers don’t know what their OWN code is doing because an estimated 80% of code in all projects today comes from Open Source Software. Nobody reviews the libraries they load and call.

Put it in a spare room. Plug it in and let it listen to talk radio for 24 hours a day.

I have an Echo Dot, asked the question “Alexa, does Amazon work for the CIA?” and it shut down.

I am aware that in-lab AI actually exists the average American IQ in terms the ability to think independently. There’s no reason why, in principle, AI couldn’t eventually, too soon I might add, have an unlimited IQ, in all practical terms.

I asked Alexa if she shares info with the CIA and it gives no response. Just turns off the ring of blue light. I asked about NSA and she says she can’t find the info to the question I asked. Vellly eentereshting.

How does ECHO work? Where does the information come from? Is it stored on the device?

I am guessing a combination of AI, Programming, and pre-programmed answers to obvious questions.

Why anyone would have one in their home is beyond me...

ERGO..it is preprogrammed NOT TO GIVE ANSWERS ON CERTAIN TRIGGERS

That would be a false "ergo"

It is programmed NOT TO GIVE ANSWERS to questions that have not yet been assigned a preprogrammed answer.

Not the same thing.
