President Donald Trump’s biggest supporting bloc in the country since winning the presidency last year are the same people who voted him into the Oval Office: white Americans. Meanwhile, minority demographics trailed in their approval ratings of the president, a Gallup poll released Tuesday revealed.
Above all, it was uneducated white men, usually above the age of 50, who were most likely to support Trump in his first seven weeks in Washington, D.C. Trump's overall approval rating stood at 42 percent on Wednesday since his first day in the White House, Jan. 20, according to Gallup's latest poll.

While just 13 percent of black voters supported Trump, the lowest approval of any demographic accounted for in Tuesday’s poll, a majority of white men approved of the president, with 60 percent of support among the voting group also most likely to support Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Other variables, including college education and gender, have historically played important roles in determining a president’s approval across the country as well. For example, the poll showed Trump was not so well-liked among women, minorities and college-educated voters.
Though 67 percent of white, non-college-graduate men approved of Trump’s first months as president, just 15 percent of nonwhite female college graduates said they supported the work Trump had accomplished so far. That number dipped to 14 percent for non-graduates in the same voting bloc.
Trump’s first weeks in office have been largely mired in controversy, with a focus on the new White House administration’s ties to the Russians overtaking most of the daily news Trump would prefer the media to report on instead. I so want to have a conversation with a liberal who hates Trump... to find out where their hate comes from.. I’m betting it’s the media.. all they hear is what is on TV and they spew hate 24 hrs a day... lies... and if they answer with the media’s talking points, then they have NO reason for their hate...except they believe the lies and do not know the man Trump.. and are ready to hate anyone and everyone... I do see a generation that is angry, and of the gimme state.. Now, I know not all the younguns are this way... I’ve got kids who are not ... so I give you that... but too many are just lost. They don’t know what they know or don’t know.

I will take a million “uneducated” (which to dems means didn’t spend 6 years in deep propaganda getting the utterly useless ‘ology’ or ‘studies’ degree. While nobody seems to complain that democrats have greater than 90% of the literally illiterate and the functionally illiterate vote. They also have 100% of the votes of groups who either do not understand anything about our history and culture, or are actively trying to destroy are history, and culture, and institutions.

I suppose they believe that you need a college degree to repair an aircraft engine, a ship navigation system, a snowplow, or their little motorscooter!
That is a slap to every military member that took their training with them to the workforce, and did ‘all right for themselves AND their families’.

LOL and who are Hillary’s? All one has to figure out is which districts went for her and the educational level of those district voters. From what I can gather, the left side of the bell curve favored Hillary but a highly vocal minor part of the right side voted for her too. I live in a retirement area, mostly engineers and other professional people, and this district went for Trump. If you graduated from a LAD college, you’re for Hillary, advanced degrees in science, math, business related areas leaned towards Trump. Some people don’t need a degree after HS, they need OJT to fix AC’s, Elevators, riveting, welding, auto mechanics etc.. Those HS types will be far better off than the so called Liberal geniuses who have degrees in Women studies or what ever other worthless course there is. Then they can claim they have a degree, thus making them smarter than a HS grad with hours of OJT, who btw is earning 4x more than they are. So who is the real genius? (BTW, don’t knock the Art degrees, they are the designers, of your clothes, furniture, homes, cars, planes, and a million other items. (Its not all about oil paintings and sculpture.)
Ha, ha, my uneducated husband and I started with zero, zip, nada and we now have a healthier bottom line than most of our college educated family and friends, Too bad we’re so dumb.
The targeted demographic might also say, "American males who entered the work force and distinguished themselves by their industry vs snowflakes who went to college to avoid real responsibility."

My Dad has an eighth grade education, he had to quite school and go to work to help feed his family. He did all kinds of work from electrical, plumbing, concrete, construction, armature rebuilding, etc... He ended up running a successful small business had his home paid for 12 yrs. after he had it built and is totally debt free.
I would put his real life experience and commons sense up against any of these university educated half-wits any day of the week, any time. These progressive fools just don’t get it. They can’t see what is openly staring them in the face for their own arrogance and condescension.
All the Trump supporters I know have M.D.s and Ph.Ds. and are tops in their fields. Trump speaks common sense, so the common man and the Ph.D. worth his salt will hear the truth of Trump and the illogical, country-killing babble of today’s Democrats.

The school of hard knocks teaches far better than the effete communist universities with their wildly unrealistic world view. I graduated from a state college in the seventies before all the politically correct BS.
Today if starting out I would start a business after high school with the money I would otherwise have spent on college.
All white men have gotten a real education in PC/feminist fascism over the last 30-40 years; on a daily basis.
