Even before Donald Trump was inaugurated, U.S. citizens who own land along the border reportedly began receiving letters from the Justice Department informing them that the federal government wants their land to build a fence (i.e. the president’s border wall), that it intends to acquire their land, and the amount of compensation the government is offering.

Anyone that has a problem with our border being secured needs to be raped, murdered or killed by the filth that is coming across it.
Offer citizenship to those of the tribe living south of the border, move them north, pay them for the land and build the wall. Most tribal elders are realists, only the young ones are activists.

Not sure if being sarcastic, but only congress can make laws. However, Trump won’t veto it given the resistance there within. ;)

It will be a normal taking by Eminent Domain with the land owners receiving just compensation. If the feds sent letters that included monetary offers, the lands have already been appraised.
Build the wall everywhere except on the trouble makers land, so the only places to cross easily are on troublemaker lands

The library collection and the opera stage are located in Stanstead, but the main entrance and most opera seats are located in Derby Line. Because of this, the Haskell is sometimes called “the only library in the U.S.A. with no books” and “the only opera house in the U.S.A. with no stage”. The stage and half of the seats are in Canada, the remainder of the opera hall is in the US. The library has a collection of more than 20,000 books in French and English, and is open to the public 38 hours a week.
The building is recognized as a historic site in both countries. In the United States, it has been registered in the National Register of Historic Places since 1976. In Canada, it was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1985[3] and has been a provincial heritage site since 1977.

From the parts of the border I have visited there are what I would call “barriers” all ready in place. They just need some “maintenance” the way I see it and a little reinforcement.
