Trump intends to Do It.
WOW.
Really?
The fight will be tremendous.
And the win will be yuge!
Kaboom
I hope it's a long list.
180days to submit their plan of whether or not their dept needs revision? that’s too long. Give them about 90 days (June 14 Trumps bday or is it 16th I get it mixed up with family friends bday) lets get this moving!!!
While reading this I was thinking what a courageous man he is. This has needed doing for as long as I can remember. Congress will do everything in their power to stop this
We ALL need to thank this guy for doing FAR MORE then anyone in memory to reverse the slide into Socialism started in the 1930s.
After Trump won over 60 percent of Fed workers said they were thinking of quitting. This is the shot heard round the coffee machine.
Read and think about this EO, it is amazing.Imagine BLM, Interior, EPA, Dept of Energy ( other than Nuclear, which should be back @ Dept of Defense IMHO ) as one entity, the Dept of Natural Resource Utilization and Conservancy.
How many GS12's would you nix, and how many redudant memo's and directives go away?
It is mind boggling for those of us who saw the benefits of Demming, Kaizen etc in the Private Sector, this is the directive to do so too Fedzilla!
Your exactly right. Congress does not want to lose any of it’s power. Especially the power to tax. That’s why the IRS is still screwing us.
Did anyone notice there’s a conservative in the White House doing conservative things?
No, you’re not dreaming.
More winning!
Rats will go ballistic!
Thank you, President Trump for attempting to drain the swamp.
MAGA!
Boom goes the dynamite!
The consolidation of programs and agencies...and a real, substantial head count reduction through job elimination and other steps. Some agencies up for elimination.
And he put his bean counter agency in charge.
Who would have ever thought we’d have it this good?
Now, be certain the dimwits in the Republican Congress will side with their commie brethren to oppose this. And thereby set up a Constitutional challenge as there is a USSC decision out there somewhere saying the Executive has to spend all the money, for the specific programs Congress designates and the Executive has no authority to actually reduce spending or cut jack sh!t.
I think that decision, whichever it is, is ripe for reconsideration.
Still, it’s best Trump take this to the people so that Congress can be forced to see the light.
Please, someone create a reality show to document this unprecedented forced coming to Jesus moment among the entitled and here-to-for untouchable DC white collar welfare dead beats known as federal government employees.
(i) whether some or all of the functions of an agency, a component, or a program are appropriate for the Federal Government or would be better left to State or local governments or to the private sector through free enterprise;
A) Eliminate ATF. Merge select employees into the FBI and other agencies. Eliminate the Federal role in alcohol, tobacco, firearms, bank robbery and similar things best done at the state and local level. Eliminate all Federal taxes and fees targeted at alcohol, tobacco, etc. Let the states levy and collect those taxes.
FBI should focus on terrorism, cyber crime, political corruption.
B) Eliminate the DOT. Building the interstate system is mission accomplished. What is needed now is short connectors and especially maintenance. This is best done by state and local government. Eliminate Federal taxes on gasoline, oil, tires, batteries, airports, etc. Let the states levy and collect those taxes.
(Maybe retain safety for the Feds?)
C) Eliminate all Federal taxes targeted at communications. Let the states levy and collect those taxes.
D) Eliminate the EPA. Let the states regulate their own environments.
Winners:
Blue states who send more money to DC than they get back.
Blue states who don’t want Trump running their state agenda.
Red states who don’t want DC telling them what to do.
Taxpayers
Environmentalists who can have max impact in the states they control
Mass transit supporters, who are concentrated in the states they control.
State governors and legislators and state lobbyists who now have more power.
Small and medium sized businesses who can compete better at the state and local level than in DC.
Losers:
DC lobbyists, Congressmen and Senators.
Big business which has the competitive edge in big government.
People who can’t handle change. Who are ossified in the status quo.
Bigly
Outstanding!
