Halperin: People Have Told Me That Trump's Win Was The Worst Event In Their Lives.

Bloomberg’s Mark Halperin went on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last week and said that there have been people who are optimistic about Trump, but added that there’s the other half who think that this is the worst thing that’s ever happened in their lives. My God—will these people ever get over it? I mean I hope they don’t. The more they whine, the better the Republicans’ electoral chances look in 2018 and 2020. Still, have these folks forgotten about the 9/11 attacks? And Halperin also added that Trump’s victory was more cataclysmic than 9/11 (via Daily Caller):

“Outside of the Civil War, World War II, and including 9/11, this may be the most cataclysmic event the country has ever seen,” Halperin said on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert Thursday, appearing with collaborator John Heilemann.

“I don’t want to minimize the loss of life in 9/11, and in the wars,” Halperin said. “Obviously that is beyond anything that has happened. But if you think of how this has convulsed the country — More than half of the country that voted against him and is upset about his being president — it’s self inflicted.”

Halperin commented on the divide between how Trump supporters and others in the country view the new administration. “I’ve traveled a lot since [Trump] got elected and there are people who are hopeful, and optimistic, and really think this is the kind of change we need. And there are adults who say to me, ‘This is the worst thing that’s happened to me in my life.'”

Wow-they are really living narrow, sheltered lives.

This means we can assume that Liberals really ARE the mindless, shallow, superficial, immature and unrealistic simpletons we have always suspected!

Worse than a spouse, child or parent dying? Worse than losing a job? Struggling to make ends meet in the Obama economy? Worse than watching your wages stagnate as prices go up and up? Must be nice to be an insulated liberal who makes his or her living off of some state-connected activity who is so obsessed with politics that Donald Trump’s election is the worse thing that ever happened to them.

If you think the president, or supreme court, or circuit court should be able to control people’s lives however the individuals in those positions think, then it is a disaster when someone someone you disagree with gets those positions.

If you think laws rather than individuals are what make our government great then an election or appointment is not the end of the country even if you disagree with the individual.

Halpren is a true, blue believer in the democrat party. Certainly he’s finding President Trump’s entering the Whitehouse offensive. He’s afraid our President will make America better and allow the world to respect us again.

How pathetic. Moronic. Stupid. Utterly ignorant of truth. Devoid of accurate perspective.

For my sister breaking her dolly was the worst thing that ever happened in her life, but then she was three at the time. What in hell is wrong with these people?

Halperin, anyone, no matter how old, who says something that stupid, is not an adult.

If these dopes are even real, and truly consider Trump’s election their pit, they should consider themselves fortunate to lead very blessed lives.

Liberals assume everyone is heartbroken over Trump’s win (not me!!!). I even saw a review for a nail polish brand that referred to 2016 being a terrible year because of DJT! Only nail polish could cheer the writer!
