God Bless you good, Mac. *HUGS* Good night and rest well.
Thanks for helping honor our troops, past and present.
Thank you for your service to our country.
We would have never survived as a nation without our brave warriors who protect us and her! God bless them and God bless America!
You are so right....what good is a 40 watt light. I have half a dozen fixtures that take at least 60 W, so I’ve been stockpiling 60s and a few 100s and 3 ways for my Mom’s living room lamps. I really don’t like the curly bulbs.
40 is the bulb over the stove....like you said, a night light.
Well, it’s like this. She went out early and he was still snoozing on the bed. Then he decided to go out and when he went out, she came in. I’m not opening that door again or I might have them both again. LOL! We might as well have a revolving door.
Oh...and the other day hubby was using the mower and left the garage door cracked. When I went into the kitchen from sweeping the patio, a gray and cream [sort of Siamese-ish looking tabby] kitty that hangs around scooted out of the kitchen and back OUT the garage! He also sleeps in the cat carrier I have on the front porch for my cats if they want to stay warm and drinks from their outside water dish. I think he’s adopted us even though I don’t feed him. LOL!
Brrrr...it’s gonna be a cold one there for sure! I’m sure the bulbs will survive, but they might lose the blooms they were going to have. I hope not, though!
WOOHOO!!! Most all the clouds have blown away and the full moon is shining brightly out my window!
We’ve stockpiled 60, 75, and 100 watt bulbs too. Heck, there are some upstairs in the attic my in-laws bought years ago and they still work fine. Last longer than modern-day bulbs too.
Those curly things are the pits. And if you have a lampshade that sits on a light bulb, you can’t use it with the curly ones.
Gone are the days of sensible, quality items.
Now?
Now?
Now?
Now?
Bookmarking to remind myself to look that webcam up. Jackson Hole is one of my favorite spots - from backpacking to skiing. A verse from a diddy I made up based on years of road trips:
Well I’m out here in Jackson,
Havin’ a hell of a time -
The powder’s so deep
You dust your behind.
The women are so pretty
I may not go home
I’ll just write my brother
and ask for a loan.
Aaaaaaaah, he made the mistake of wanting out and now he’s out for the night. Smart Ginger coming in at the same time and having you all to herself. Just not so lucky for your toes. LOL
I gather the kitty who’s hanging around belongs to someone in the neighborhood and just visits? Must have been a surprise to see it in your kitchen.
Now the temp has risen to 36 and that’s a plus. Maybe it’ll warm enough to melt the frost so it doesn’t do much damage this time. We aren’t worried about the daffodils so much. If new blooms don’t crop up, we’ve already had a nice show this year. The irises are just putting up leaves so as long as the bulbs don’t freeze, they’ll be ok. It’s the daylilies I worry about most since they’ve come up so early. Don’t want to lose those.
We still have the rest of the week to get through and we’ll just have to hope for the best.
WOOHOO! “Now” it was! Ya got it!
COOL scap! What a view!
I keep forgetting to check the other cams up there, durn it. I just check downtown to see how much snow they have.
That’s beautiful! Hope you get to visit, after the snow is gone and they find a house. d:o)
((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies. Thanks for this morning's thread, Star. How's it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, LUV W. How’s it going?
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...hope you had a good hunting weekend.
