While Democrats Fume, Trump Becomes the Jobs President
American Greatness ^ | Chris Buskirk

Posted on 03/12/2017 6:32:42 AM PDT by RoosterRedux

Against the new administration’s ambitious goals, Democrats are stuck with increasingly transparent attempts to undermine the president with phony narratives endlessly repeated by their media surrogates. The stranglehold the mainstream media had on American opinion was broken long ago and Americans understand the game played by the Progressive Left-Democrat-Media opinion complex. And they either look for other sources of news and opinion or they discount for the expected collusion when they hear Democrat talking points repeated as objective fact.

Forget the nakedly partisan attempts to create a media narrative about Russian hacking and so undermine the legitimacy and effectiveness of President Trump and his administration. Forget too “the Resistance” which exists more as a social media meme than a real life phenomena—progressive street violence notwithstanding. What matters is jobs, not phony outrage cooked up by professional agitators.

The complaints of D.C. Democrats and their Millennial storm troopers don’t have much purchase with middle America when the economy is growing and people are working. As Loretta Lynn sang in her 1971 classic “One’s On The Way”: “The White House social season should be glitterin’ an’ gay but here in Topeka the rainis a fallin’, the faucet is a drippin’ and the kids are a bawlin’.” In other words, no matter what the powerful and connected think, ordinary people have bills to pay and families to raise and they can only do it with a job. And the fact that there are a lot more jobs than there were a few months ago has significant implications for Democrats who think they can win elections based on stoking resentments based on niche grievances and so-called microaggressions.

This week’s economic reports were so uniformly positive that even financial news titan Bloomberg, a reliable defender of Davos class perquisites, was forced to admit that “America’s labor market is getting better by almost any measure.”

By denial, you miss the actual point.

It is a fact that the elections of 2000 and 2016 were won with the lower popular vote. We are in the minority and a very few defectors can sway the elections against us

Stated differently, the cities are American enemies

Rejoice that enough Americans voted for Trump that we now have the Trump train instead of the Hillary train wreck.

We will never really know how many of Hillary’s votes were legitimate.

Very true. The Dems foment, foster, and exploit discontent. That’s what they’re all about.

They have no productive ideas; only anger and resentment. The Democrat Party is morally, ethically and politically bankrupt.

That hate Trump because he has a clear vision, purpose and specific goals to Make America Great Again, and he is succeeding. The Democrats also detest the fact that he is stopping their scheme to plant as many immigrants as they can in hopes of harvesting future Democrat voters in the future. That strategy has been derailed thanks to Trump’s election. Democrats are never going to get over this.

The dems are very confused about Trump’s job growth. No long ago I heard Pelosi complain about Trump failing to have a jobs program. How dare progress be made without government intervention.

At some point, I would like Trump to make a speech and explain now when government gets out of the way prosperity can grow. This needs to be explained at every opportunity. Deprogramming millions of marxist snowflakes will take time.

And the MSM will say that Trump benefited from Obama’s policies (which “finally” started to work). I already saw them start that meme on the CBS Evening Propaganda.

You can’t just cite past numbers without putting them into a larger context.

A few blue states have very large populations. California has nearly 39 million residents. Liberal New York nearly 20 million. Illinois at 13 and New Jersey at 9. Just those four states represent a whopping 25% of the country’s entire population.

Now, if you examine the population growth of those states you’ll notice they are way down the list. By contrast, many of the states that Trump won have strongly increasing populations. So its not denial; its recognition of facts. But I do agree that the cities will remain a significant challenge for Republicans for a long time to come. That’s part of the Great Cultural Divide.

And of course, Trump is working to get control of the immigration problem, voting requirements are being tightened up in a number of states, and population trends such as those pointed out above will influence future elections.

Trump is doing what Dems, and way too many Repubs, have been telling us was impossible......it’s causing waves of panic across the board to have someone who is willing to act in the behalf of the People instead of protecting their own sorry asses and the power they crave.

Even here in California, people are almost waking up to the media lies.

It will probably never be proven, but I would wager that Trump won a huge landslide, maybe even the popular vote. The attempt to steal must have been enormous. Just look up “black-box voting”. The only way to go up against the powers that be, and win, is with a landslide.

He’s dome more in 30 days than what Obama&Co could do in 8 years no wonder their party is dead.

Excellent point, LS.

Trump speaks in terms of all AMERICANS FIRST; jobs, hiring, business deregulation from over regulation, homeland security, money back in the pocket of the family (including Union workers) on their insurance deductibles, rebuilding our military and materials, and of coal and steel, oil.

Trump heartens everyone, and stomps through the petticoat-boys jungle, of media and Marxist beard pullers.

Now, if we could see him rebuild ACADEMIA, with an American curriculum, we might turn this Titanic ship and bring our nation safely back home.

Indeed. If you look deep into those blue areas. most, if not all, contain Democrat-run cities. That's one reason I am for the Electoral College Vote by Congressional Districts.
