Preet was "on the cusp" of nailing Cuomo and DeBlasio for at least a year. Surely he wasn't the only one in that office who was working on those cases. If he was asked to resign (as a matter of course) and refused, then of course he should be fired.

I wouldn't be shocked if Chris Christie ends up in that post.

Christie is one step from federal indictment in Jersey. He is also buds with Cuomo and would be as likely to indict him as I am likely to throw a party for Barky.As for the amount of time in the investigation indicating that nothing would happen, ask Skelos and Silver about that.
