When Paul Ryan and his congressional clown car of alleged conservatives surprised us by just sort of dropping Obamacare Jr. on us, I wasnt surprised to see them trip all over their Guccis during the utterly inept roll out. These nimrods couldnt effectively communicate to Elizabeth Warren with smoke signals. But even I was shocked at how transcendently crappy their proposed Obamacare replacement is. Let me put it this way: the only thing that steaming pile of failure would be good for is as the key prop in a very specialized, niche German porno film.
Seriously, how many times do we have to tell you? Obamacare must die. Kill it dead with fire!
When are you going to get it through your wonk spheres that we dont want a government-led health care system that leaves the people who infest D.C. in charge? We dont need a plan because 85 percent of us already have a plan its called Taking responsibility for supporting ourselves and our families like damn adults.

Then if does not die, go Paul Ryan bill and take it apart in three sweeps. We have to remember that no communists Democrat in the Senate will ever kill their piece of garbage.
Again “Repeal Obamacare” is an easy thing to say. Executing it is not. Especially when everyone seems to have a different definition of “repeal”.
Half the country doesn’t want it repealed. Anyone have any workable ideas on how to persuade them?
thats the real issue. theres no way to replace it this quickly. Thats their first mistake.
The NeverTrumpers will object to anything Trump does in the name of conservatism.
I’m sure they read FreeRepublic regularly!
This bill is a stinking pile of garbage.
It’s not even a compromise. It’s the Republicans once again executing tehir strategy of preemptive surrender.
There’s only one definition of repeal. Force the bastards to do what they pledged to do. Repeal every word of ObamaCare! They’ve passed such bills before, but of course, Obama vetoed them. Thus we elected Trump to sign it. Pass it, sign it and turn it back to the states and the people per the constitution. Anything else is national suicide.
That was also back in the day when insurance risk pools were made up of people in your state; supposedly people who drove the same roads as you, whose homes were of relatively the same value as yours, who lived and worked and shopped and ate in the same environments are you, etc.
I wonder what would happen if someone in a high-crime city like Chicago wants to buy life insurance from Idaho, where the risk pools are a bit less risky because the Idahoans aren't shooting at each other every weekend?

Well said. President Trump needs to find a way to break the lobbyist connections...
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
OR
Break a few necks in order that they see straight.
First the cry was REPEAL by the ‘party’; for months the cry was replaced by REPEAL and REPLACE. This is no more than finding you have a blowout and nothing but a ‘donut’ in the trunk. Neither one will get you where you wish to go.
Yo, Paul Ryan, why not just give American citizens the same health care plan you and your fellow Congressturds have?
And salt the earth on which it grew so that its like will never again curse men.
He couldn’t be more correct.
How possibly can the uniparty pretend that healthcare “insurance” is still insurance if companies are required to provide coverage and can’t write to their own underwriting standards and incentives?
How can they with a straight face pretend that they are offering a free market solution when “insurers” are required to cover “children”, without additional cost, up to age 26?
And don’t get me started on the GOP version of Obamacare subsidies—which provide subsidies for people making up to $290K per year.
That’s a constitutional stand IF you never drive out of state. Most car owners do drive in more than one state, but only have license, insurance, plates, title records, etc. from just one. If you live in New York, insure a car there and then drive it to New Jersey to have coverage you are engaging in interstate commerce. Democrats have so perverted the Commerce Clause that conservatives demean it, but it has a legit purpose in cases just like this. Congress DOES have a say over auto insurance if you will be driving in multiple states. The chaos from differing state rules under the Articles of Confederation played a major part in why we now have the Constitution. That’s not the same as saying the states have no role to play regarding insurance, auto or health, but the feds have a role to ensure they play together well.
Trump wants elements of the ACA, like not rejecting people based on pre-existing conditions.
I’m not sure it can be repealed as a whole, not the way Spicer has been explaining it at the press briefings.
Those citizens will now and in the future hold President Trump responsible for any further watering down of their demands to repeal and replace "Obamacare"--a concept which was and is a Progressive Trojan Horse hiding the Progressive attempt to take over significant portion of the U. S. economy.
Now is the time to remind the President that, if he wants to create jobs, opportunities, and freedom for America--Make America Great Again--then he must open up that Progressive Trojan Horse, show it for what it is, explain it to the American people, and put the pressure on Ryan and McConnell so that the Legislative Branch is not allowed to overpower, appropriate, and dilute the wishes of "the People" who elected him, not the "establishment," to carry out their wishes!
President Reagan would have done no less!
I’d prefer not to let Trump have that one. He’s a big hearted man and loves the idea of taking care of people, but it’s unconstitutional for the feds to make such mandates. It’s not with the federal government’s purview. We are not a socialist country or a dictatorship. We must abide by the rule of law.
Repeal every word of Obamacare and remove any and all federal roadblocks to free market solutions.
“In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.”
Rings as true today as it was when Ronald Reagan stated it over 30 years ago and it will be true tomorrow.
Set my people free.
Trump should stay true to the constitution and to Reagan’s great legacy in this regard and let people live free as God intended.
.
Amen.
Submit a complete repeal of Obamacare.
Submit a full bore market based replacement system.
If the dems filibuster it, just walk away from the whole thing and let Obamacare die of its own evil nature.
Once the current system completely collapses, they’ll come around and cooperate with us to put in place a system that is fair to everyone, not just to the people who demand free stuff..
Absolutely the right call. NUKE that plan. Focus instead on improving health care by taming the FDA and accelerate approval of new medicine; refuse illegals health care; stop drug ads; stop frivolous lawsuits; eliminate state lines regarding buying health plans; crack down on fraud.
I read today that a heart procedure costing over $100,000 here costs only $5,000 in India. WTF?
