Wikileaks released thousands of documents Tuesday exposing the Central Intelligence Agency.

The documents and files exposed tools the CIA used to hack cellphones, TVs and computers.

The first trove of documents also imply Donald Trump was spied on with these CIA tools.

After the release today noted hacker Kim Dotcom said President Trump would “totally go ballistic” if he knew what the Obama CIA did watching and listening to him 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Good comment re Michael Hayden...

All of these experts, including Dems on Intelligence committee are refining the Clintonian parsing to a new art form...

e.g. it Depends on what “ surveillance is”

Strange thing is I have yet to hear a new caster ask ( including Fox analysts)

What did the Russians do

How did they do it

When did they do it

Who has been identified as the verifiable source.......

To me theres a lot of CYA going on as we have been lead to believe that Barry O did interfere with the Israel elections, and like other governments probably others...

The truth is going to come out that instead of focusing on real national threats this has turned into “ politics at all costs”

Me - “A powered down cell phone in a fridge will not pick up a conversation going on a couple rooms away.”

You - “A powered down cell phone can be activated in a refrigerator. Try it. Put yours in the fridge and see if you can call it.”

I did, with three different phones, you were wrong. They didn’t activate.

“I did, with three different phones, you were wrong. They didn’t activate.”

Then you clearly don’t have the smarts and abilities and knowledge of the NSA and CIA.

SINCE a phone CAN be accessed in a fridge IF it gets a signal.

“They can absolutely turn them on with the power turned off to the device,” Snowden replied.

It’s tough to turn on a battery removed device.
Not much room for a big capacitor...

There is some talk about the internal battery that deals with memory, etc.. and what that can do but not sure it could turn on a phone.

More like allow you to be tracked

I think the problem is so deep in government it would have to be cleaned out so far it could not function. AMERICANS HAVE no idea how corrupt our Federal Government is.

Now you are moving goalposts. You said they could be activated and to try it. I did and you were wrong.

You - “A powered down cell phone can be activated in a refrigerator. Try it. Put yours in the fridge and see if you can call it.”

DC as in Direct Current, typically battery.
DC as in District of Crimes, against USA people and lawful law.

sheesh...what the hell is wrong with you.

I said that a refrigerator can’t be used as a Faraday cage. I said it has been tested. Cocktail shakeer works better. I gave you a link to a test. DID YOU WATCH IT. IT IS PRETTY CLEAR I WAS TELLING YOU TO TEST IT.

But whatever..continue to claim it can be a FARADAY CAGE despite those in the industry that would know that say you have to have a certain fridge and finding those are hit and miss...YOURS PROBABLY WONT ACT AS A FARADAY CAGE

TRY IT

No, this is your exact quote;

“A powered down cell phone can be activated in a refrigerator. Try it. Put yours in the fridge and see if you can call it.”

“But whatever..continue to claim it can be a FARADAY CAGE”

I’ve never claimed that.

“How would such a conference call be secure?”

There’s probably quite a few ways contact with the three could be made. Regarding the security of a conference call, that’s something I don’t know enough about, but I’m quite certain that between the resources available to Trump and the knowledge the hackers have, they can figure something out.

There were mixed thoughts about what could happen with a phone with an internal battery prior to Vault7.

I think Vault7 teaches us that we don’t really know what can happen.

I suspect at the very least your location can be tracked if you remove the external battery...but maybe not. Who knows...well Snowden and Kimdotcom probably know.

ONE LAST TIME.

I was talking about a refrigerator being used as a FARADAY CAGE. LOOK AT THE POSTS

If a powered down cell phone can be remotely activated OUTSIDE the fridge then it can INSIDE THE FRIDGE.

The point was to see if you get a signal in the fridge.

IF ####YOU### don't have the smarts to do it outside the fridge then you clearly can't inside the fridge. If you can't understand that logic then buzz off. Well buzz off anyway.
