I was talking about a refrigerator being used as a FARADAY CAGE. LOOK AT THE POSTS

If a powered down cell phone can be remotely activated OUTSIDE the fridge then it can INSIDE THE FRIDGE.

The point was to see if you get a signal in the fridge.

IF ####YOU### don't have the smarts to do it outside the fridge then you clearly can't inside the fridge. If you can't understand that logic then buzz off. Well buzz off anyway.

I know you were, but I wasn’t.

Me - “A powered down cell phone in a fridge will not pick up a conversation going on a couple rooms away.”

You - “A powered down cell phone can be activated in a refrigerator. Try it. Put yours in the fridge and see if you can call it.”

So I did, with three different phones, you were wrong. They didn’t activate. Even if it was on, a phone in a fridge wouldn’t pick up a conversation a couple rooms away.
