The Russians reverse-engineered the score to “Alexander Nevsky” as the original sheet music was lost. You can get the CD of it’s performance by the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra.

I sat through the 4 hour silent movie of Ivan The terrible, and also Alexander Nevsky, just to listen to the Prokofiev scores (so they weren’t really silent!)

I remember the Battle on the Ice from Alexander Nevsky.

In Boston, there has been snow on Easter Sunday more than once.

Yuck! Can’t blame ya for staying home with that kind of weather. But you had that brand-spankin’ new game to make the day fun. :-)

I woke up to rain thundering on the roof. No lightning and thunder today, just a nice amount of rain for a bit.

Went to visit Aunt Clara and after seeing her, I went to the rehab side of the facility to visit a friend who fell and cracked some ribs and messed up his knees. They’re working to get him on his feet again.

Stayed out way too long before coming home to deal with the cats and some supper. Just finished the last bite and trying to catch my breath. LOL
