Today, Tuesday 7 March 2017, WikiLeaks begins its new series of leaks on the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency. Code-named "Vault 7" by WikiLeaks, it is the largest ever publication of confidential documents on the agency.
The first full part of the series, "Year Zero", comprises 8,761 documents and files from an isolated, high-security network situated inside the CIA's Center for Cyber Intelligence in Langley, Virgina. It follows an introductory disclosure last month of CIA targeting French political parties and candidates in the lead up to the 2012 presidential election.
Recently, the CIA lost control of the majority of its hacking arsenal including malware, viruses, trojans, weaponized "zero day" exploits, malware remote control systems and associated documentation. This extraordinary collection, which amounts to more than several hundred million lines of code, gives its possessor the entire hacking capacity of the CIA. The archive appears to have been circulated among former U.S. government hackers and contractors in an unauthorized manner, one of whom has provided WikiLeaks with portions of the archive.
"Year Zero" introduces the scope and direction of the CIA's global covert hacking program, its malware arsenal and dozens of "zero day" weaponized exploits against a wide range of U.S. and European company products, include Apple's iPhone, Google's Android and Microsoft's Windows and even Samsung TVs, which are turned into covert microphones.
Since 2001 the CIA has gained political and budgetary preeminence over the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA). The CIA found itself building not just its now infamous drone fleet, but a very different type of covert, globe-spanning force — its own substantial fleet of hackers. The agency's...

Pen and paper and human memory.
Chilling!
iPhone's minority share (14.5%)
Google's Android [share] (~85%)
Too bad RIM (Blackberry) decided to move to Android. Although, the CIA probably would have thrown resources at the Blackberry OS as well.
This appears to be proof that the CIA is actively and intentionally doing grave harm to national security.
Obama I'm sure just got off to all the data that was at his fingertips. How he used it, when he used it, to whom, to what groups, etc, needs a Congressional Investigation. Did he monitor Trump? Give me a break. As I mentioned yesterday, I bet that started that the minute Trump and Melania came down the escalator in June, 2015, if not before. The other scary part is he's probably still doing it two miles down the street from the White House.
I assume Trump has Obama's house, gadgets, phones, cables, computers, dishes, etc monitored 24/7 and Trump is getting a daily briefing on this domestic enemy. What a disgrace that Trump has to worry/monitor the ex-President, then again, that's what happens in Banana Republics.
Trump has so much on his plate. Have Sessions deal with Obama, Hillary, the Clinton Foundation and the other list of dem/commies and let Trump get his work done.
Anyone who's listened to the Security Now podcast from Leo Laporte's TWIT podcasting network knows clearly about the various techniques WikiLeaks described--some of which have been around for decades. In fact, that's why intelligence agencies don't like to deal with the iPhone--iOS security is actually not easily to crack unless you have some extremely expensive technology.
It just hit me, did Hillary have the Same Access to all of this Vault 7 min-NSA inside the CIA information plus the regular NSA at her fingertips, just like Obama? Inquiring minds want to know. Time for a subpoena Sessions?
As I distill today’s bombshells from Wikileaks I have come to the conclusion that losing the cyber hacking recipes and disseminating the same to outside parties was the Globalist Obama and his co-horts’ plan to bring the US and the the First world to a level playing field with the rest of the under-developed world.
The current CIA Director, Pompeo, is Trump's pick.
This reminds me, Sharyl Attkisson has been vindicated.

Yes, a big point! Trump's tweet was maybe the spark for the Vault 7 release today.
Hopefully, this will be the start of roping in the rogue agency.
Hey Obama, don't get too comfortable. Lots of interrogatories, subpoenas coming your way. Maybe a Grand Jury of two and a Special Prosecutor. Oh, and BTW, every walking moment and every word out of your mouth is now recorded. How's your book coming?
You may be correct. Just like slick Willie giving China our MIRV technology for campaign cash. What was Obama paid? He needs an immediate full court press accounting of all his financial dealings, bank accounts, Swiss accounts, offshore accounts, etc. Go Sessions!
LOL!
Oh, the Schadenfreude!
When he was in the WH, I couldn’t stand to see him or hear him speak. I think I might enjoy listening to him testify in court. Can’t wait to see him behind bars.
Hmm...an opportunity to give Snowden immunity and put him in charge of all the “intelligence” agencies?
Joke not, there will more than enough ‘out there’ that others will be having a field day updating, strengthening and countering these new exploits/avenues.
Ideas gleamed from so many lines of code for bigger, better...
White\Grey hackers will have new tools for intrusion testing and hardening.
And, God willing, DT will have the arsenal needed to take a major CHUNK of @ss out of Fedzilla, Deep State, DEMs and the Uniparty.
He and Mooch just got a 60,000,000 book deal didn't they?
Yes indeed! I hope Sessions drafts Rudy, Christie, Sekulow, Levin and other trusted fighters to help him drain the swamp! If they can't be full time, at least consult with them for ideas, legalese, strategy, etc. They are going to need a Regiment of Patriots! Can we volunteer? Hell, I'll type up stuff, go get lunch, anything to help. Drain the Swamp!
Go Sessions! America is backing you 100%!
What's Ayers' cut going to be for writing it?
Thanks for the summary of the release! The last item on there grabbed my attention.
Ha! LOL!
