It appears that the Obama administration set up the meeting with the Russian ambassador. The ambassador asked Sessions for a meeting and Sessions had no idea why. Considering that Sessions was merely a "surrogate" (that is, made some speeches supporting Trump), not part of the campaign operation, and given that there were 2 or 3 others in the room, it wouldn't have occurred to Sessions to talk campaign tactics with the ambassador even if there was collusion going on (which there wasn't)...so there was no reason why he would have thought that meeting in his office had any relation to what Al Franken questioned him about.
I want him out— he is SPINELESS.
Those 3 can all go to Hell and the sooner the better.
In fact, those 3 are the jackals that need to resign!

Sec. Sessions should un-recuse himself and tell he RATs to “Hit me with your best shot”.
AG Sessions is going NOWHERE! HE STAYS!!!
If I were Trump I’d tell them to stuff it in no uncertain terms, and I’d tell them it will be a cold day in hell before I’d allow my Attorney General to recuse himself on any matter.
Sessions has always been a man above reproach, and him accepting a job in the Trump administration changes none of that.
I’d also remind them two sides can play this sort of game, and if they keep it up I’d take off my gloves.
I’d tell them I’ve just about had it with their attempt to destroy the nation’s leadership, and they better pull their heads out before they bite off more than they can chew.
We all know what’s been going on in Washington, D. C., and if you all want a political blood-bath, keep it up.
Sure. As soon as the rest of the Senators who met the ambassador resign, he could too. Then the 80% new Senate could reconfirm him.
