Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine sits down with Face the Nation Host John Dickerson to discuss President Trump's wiretap accusations, the Senate Intelligence Committee investigation into Russia and healthcare reform.
"It would probably be helpful if he gave more information, but it also might be helpful if he just didn't comment further and allowed us to do our work," she said about the Intelligence Committee investigation.

Dear Sen Collins: Of course you are entitled to your opinion and I to mine which is simply this: God did not bring Mr. Trump to realize his election to President Trump only to leave his ass hanging out in the breeze. He is not a stupid or foolhardy man. If he says it happened. ..it did and he has the proof. It’s just more fun to let them squirm. He plays by his rules. Look back on his history.

The President should refrain from further comment after giving them a deadline to actually produce results. For example, say that on April 15th he’d go public of Congress drags their feet. That should light a fire.

I see your point Susan. If Trump keeps commenting and keeping it on our minds; we might begin to expect your faux “investigation” to actually accomplish something. Based on the past 8 years, we expect NOTHING from you, and will probably get it. But seriously, couldn’t you have at least pretended to give a damn for a few weeks, before appearing to yawn and nod back off?

Dude is a serious problem to nat sec, and a perpetuator of the “we’ve got to go to war with Russia, because we have to free the moderate rebels in an Arab Spring(in a country with few “arabs”) against the popular ruler of a client state of Russia.
You’d think somebody who had been a victim of Soviet style interrogation and torture, would not, these many years later dangle on a string of goading Russian puppeteers- and not be on literally the wrong side of everything in US foreign policy— as much as John Kerry has been.
But he is in this up to his neck, and the willing tool of the democrats he so often reached across the aisle to help (on the threat of revealing what they have on him). A tool, and a sad one at that who cannot see woods for trees, or ISIS for moderate al-qaeda, or anything that doesn’t drive his pocket lining.

Does she (or anyone) actually believe that Presidential “tweets” are spontaneous, off-the-cuff remarks by President Trump himself. No way. Anything coming out of the WH is messaged and finessed for hours by the top staff with input every step of the way by the WH Counsel’s Office. If it were any other way, nobody would want to work for him. They’d just be in damage-control mode at all times. Every presidential tweet is a carefully honed strategem involving the WH brain trust. But nobody seems to understand this.
Unfortunately this disgusting wench is one of the vile senators that are representing Maine...The only good to come out of her actions is that she will never aspire to be Governor Of my state of Maine...she is hated and loathed by multitudes here ...She needs to be mugged.
It would probably be more helpful is he had the support of the Republican party, but that is asking a bunch of do-nothings who suffer from jellyspineitis — one of which is Senator Collins.
