...specifically the abrupt decision by Attorney General Jeff Sessions to recuse himself from investigations into Russian meddling in the 2016 campaign. Sources said the president felt Sessions' recusal was unnecessary and only served to embolden Trump's political opponents.

Trump tweeted this morning that his residence and office at Trump Tower (where his wife and son also live) had been bugged through Obama's orders.

If true, this is perhaps the biggest political scandal in American history.

And Sessions recused himself unnecessarily on Friday regarding bogus charges about "meeting" with the Russian ambassador.

That was not a tactical blunder, it was a strategic disaster for the Trump White House.

I pray that God intervenes and brings Obama and his thugs to justice.

This entire article is garbage with no sourced material. It’s ABC, for Pete’s sake. This trash media site is no better than Hitler’s Ministry of Propaganda.

Freeze this thread and don’t allow any more comments. Label it Trash before one of our hand-wringing FReepers has an unnecessary stroke.

It’s only a disaster if you buy into the fake stream media narrative. Flashes anger, WH sources, all unconfirmed. We know that the media is capable of making anything up; they are desperate to be relevant.

This is disinfo designed to sow dissension and confusion into the fake stream media’s enemy camp. Look, these guys already conspired by giving questions to Hitlery and fabricating overly fake polls. These guys ARE capable of much worse deeds than disinfo.

Trump needs to make sure that he can conduct meetings in complete secrecy. All individual attending any meeting of importance have to be completely searched and sign a non-disclosure agreement not to talk to the press or anyone else unless directed by Trump to do so.

I want the old FR back, when everyone would cut/paste the reply they’re responding to so everyone else could keep up. People here communicate now as if they’re writing a text message and everyone else on the other end already knows the context behind what they’re saying.

Stop being lazy, people. You’re talking to the world, and the rest of us want to read and understand your brilliant pearls of wisdom!

I swear, one of these days I’m going to troll an interesting, hot thread, typing an ALL-CAP query to every single person who talks to thin air. Y’all don’t MAKE me be annoying, now! LOL.

And Sessions recused himself unnecessarily on Friday regarding bogus charges about "meeting" with the Russian ambassador.

So what? What's relevant is what Sessions has not recused himself from.

That was not a tactical blunder, it was a strategic disaster for the Trump White House.

You should be paying attention to what LS has been reporting lately.

Trump is playing 3D chess while the Enemy is playing checkers. This has been evident for the last year or two.

So your outbreaks of hysterically simplistic "analysis" are both unfounded and counterproductive.

0bama has behaved far more criminally than Richard Nixon—as has Hillary and the entire corrupt Democrat and Media (but I repeat myself)— and that is what's about to become the focus of the People's anger, not Democrat wet dreams.

The Establishment is losing, and they're going to continue to lose. It's going to be a rough ride for the nervous nellies and the NeverTrumpers, but this President has the People behind him in this Revolution, and there's no way we can lose, unless we're all a bunch of cowards.

This Revolution will be won, one way or another. It may be that the Enemy will be able to influence somewhat the battlefield that this war will occur on.

As long as President Trump isn't a crook (and he isn't), and as long as the Democrat and Establishment continue acting like corrupt crooks (and they are), we will win this War.

The People are President Trump's trump card!

I just read this statement again, and I suddenly have a whole different perspective on it:

"We should have had a good week. We should have had a good weekend. But once again, back to Russia," a senior White House official said, expressing the frustration simmering in the West Wing following the news earlier in the week that Sessions failed to disclose during his confirmation process that he had met with the Russian ambassador twice during the election campaign.

If what I suspect is true, then we should all be laughing our @sses off right now. I'll keep my eye on the news over the coming days and follow up with a detailed explanation if and when the time is right. LOL.

“senior White House sources told ABC News” = “unconfirmed, likely fabricated rumors” = fake news

Why would Sessions recuse himself from anything BEFORE discussing it with the Chief Executive?

Pres. Trump SHOULD be furious. Sessions has no reason to recuse himself from anything.

Here's the solution:

1) Off-the-record meeting with Pinch and Bezos
2) Frog-march Pinch and Bezos to awaiting patrol car

That's it.

There’s no evidence here. This is hearsay based on unnamed sources carried by fake newsers who carry Democrat water.

We need to blast them with their own words.

Sessions’ greatest selling point is that he practices old school honor and integrity in his daily conduct. I don’t think in that code there is room for considering the expediencies. Even so, I believe he was mistaken in his decision.
