Get ready for more 'thorough' pat-downs at the airport
Fox News ^ | 3 Mar 2017 | unknown

Passengers at U.S. airports chosen for physical pat-downs will reportedly face a more "comprehensive" screening after a 2015 audit that apparently showed some safety vulnerability.

Bloomberg reported that airport employees have already been notified at some locations that they need to employ a “more rigorous” and “thorough” screening. The screenings will reportedly include “more intimate contact” than before. The new measure also applies to airline pilots and flight attendants.

I thought my last TSA “massage” was more comprehensive.

I prefer a security system a la El Al, where they rigorously profile and know who to thoroughly screen/pat down, and who is low threat and who is not worth spending much time with.

80 year old middle America grandmothers would very, very rarely make the cut.

So who ordered this? The Trump administration? Based on a study?

>> Maps and fort drawings for campaigns, including Washington’s expeditions.

Military histories that don’t have that, and lots of it, are darn near worthless. For this reason the West Point Atlas Military History textbooks are pretty wonderful. I’ve used them side-by-side with excellent histories that had good maps, just because the Atlas maps are so superlative. I first learned of them in middle school (so they’ve been around a good while) from a friend’s father’s bookshelf (my dad was ROTC, didn’t have them). Plus they are decent histories in their own right, just a little abbreviated.

Hmmm, it doesn’t appear they cover F&I war, so just a general comment you may find useful.

Thank you!

You said it better than I could. It’s all about political will, and doing what is needed from a pure security standpoint, vs. doing what is politically correct and includes sufficient virtue signalling to satisfy our large population of SJWs, not to mention satisfying the lawyers, as you mention. Unfortunately, we are doing the latter side of that vs.

Can I request the pat down to be performed by a female?

With my luck I'd probably get "Nurse Diesel" or her sister "Nurse Ratchet". No doubt, obese, hairy, smelly, and stronger then a team of mules. I might almost prefer a homo who might enjoy the experience rather than risk a man hating dyke who'd likely squash your left testicle flatter than a penny farthing.
Regards,
GtG

I agree.

I’ve come to realize that TSA and their invasive assaults on our citizenry in the name of “making our country safe” have nothing to do with keeping us safe.

It’s about making us more submissive and compliant, willing subjects.

If they were truly interested in our safety, after 9-11 all muslims would have been permanently deported, citizen or not. And Islam would have been outlawed.

Attention would have then focused on ridding ourselves of the communists. Their party used to be outlawed here, didn’t it?

Please President Trump, abolish the Theater Security Agency. I want to feel the win. I don’t want to the TSA to feel me.

Let the Free Market decide how much air travel security we need. Airlines should secure themselves. The Airlines that do it well will prosper. The passengers will vote with their business.
