It’s pretty gross but very effective.
Recently, a HuffPo contributor found out that her background wasn’t 100% African American like she thought.
Turns out she is part white.
Cue the meltdown…
You see, her whole life, Chistine Michel Carter had been told that she was Black and Native American, so when she found out that her Native American heritage negligible, she was pretty confused. Further complicating matters was the fact that the DNA test also told her that she was 31.5% European, which Carter said made her feel “shame” and “disorient.”
“Of all the emotions which materialized from the results, the two strongest were disorient and shame. I thought the results would simply confirm what I was told by my family; instead they discredited their allegations,” she wrote.
Addressing her feelings of shame, Carter explains that she believes her family went out of their way to cover up their white roots out of embarrassment.

Nope, no whiteness there at all! If she wants to feel better, maybe she could just go back to their favorite ‘80’s fallacy and claim she is part Egyptian.

Sad that the Marxist/Progressive dialectic of teaching race-hate has turned to teaching self-hate in someone who had already succumbed to the former.
We had a college intern in my department who emigrated from Nigeria when he was eight. He was studious, hard working and bore none of the stereotypical pathologies of the typical men of his race. That’s because it wasn’t drilled into him as a young child.
The only bad thing about his was that he never learned how to ride a bike. I took him out one day after work and taught him.

Can’t Understand Normal Thinking.
I met a guy a few months ago who is the whitest African American I’ve ever seen. He’s from South Africa and refers to himself as AA.
He seems to love getting in peoples faces with that. We talked for 45 minutes and I learned more about South Africa and it’s history than I would ever read in a newspaper.
True story.
My son had a friend who came to the US via France. His dad was African and a college professor. The kid had top grades in school. They went to the beach and the kid said “Black people don’t swim in the ocean”. My son retorted “Dude, you aren’t black. You’re French”.
I just did a quick search on DNA ancestry. WOW! Lots of various products out there.
Doesn’t matter to me. I’ve gone back 400 years and it is all Norwegian. Sadly the modern image of Norway doesn’t jive with my Viking heritage!
(I’m guessing if I go much farther back there will be a lot of first and second cousins marrying in those small mountain valleys.)

Lewis Gates (I think that’s the PBS guy) had a cow when he found he was Egyptian.
Opera was on his show and insisted she was pure zulu. She was quite offended when Gates said she could possibly have white blood in her. She didn’t. She was mad she wasn’t zulu though.
Back when the term WASP was current to describe the dominant culture, Walter Williams said that American Negroes are culturally BASPS- Black Anglo Saxon Protestants.

In order to be accepted as a part of Atlanta black “high society”, one can be no darker than a paper sack.
If this woman could look in a mirror and NOT see a White background she is as dumb as a box of rocks. Maybe her White side should pay reparations to her Black side - it might make her feel better.
