These people are disgusting. Sessions was a keynote speaker at that convention. I found this info in a Yahoo Finance article:

The State Department was unable to confirm which dignitaries were in attendance at both the RNC and corresponding DNC events, or whether Kislyak attended a corresponding DNC event, which would've occurred following the initial WikiLeaks dump of hacked Democratic National Committee emails.
A spokesperson for the Heritage Foundation told Business Insider in an email that Sessions provided a keynote address at a defense and national-security luncheon attended by roughly 100 individuals. The spokesperson said, "I believe he was speaking as a senator on Armed Services" during his address, not as a Trump campaign surrogate."

Trump’s statement was stronger than anything that Sessions himself said in his defense. Sessions didn’t take the opportunity to agree with Trump that the attacks against him are merely a “witch hunt” during his interview with Tucker. Are you going to talk trash against Sessions now, since he was much more “weaselly” and weaker than Trump was on this topic? Someone on Fox News tonight even said that in private Trump questioned whether Session should bother with the recusal, but that Sessions wanted to do it.

Trump needs the clean house with his communication team. They suck balls. Always playing defense or putting out fires. No strategy, no consistent messaging on social media, not utilizing all the tools and resources. They should have their own studio and broadcast daily and nightly on Facebook periscope YouTube etc. Even Trump just posting a 2 minute clip on Facebook each day to keep in communication with supporters would go a long way. Very bad media mgt.

I haven’t condemned Sessions for it, but the statement is correct. Your statement about recusing himself is also correct.
What’s going on here is a question of tactics and how morality has been destroyed by the left. The left tossed out the window recusing oneself with Lynch thus destroying the honorable act because if both sides don’t abide by it, then it’s meaningless. Thus to people who’ve seen what was going the correct tactic was not to give into the witch hunt, a position that Trump agrees with. Sessions and guys like you haven’t seen the truth or refuse to believe that the old system is dead. By failing to sink to the level of our foes when fighting back is how we will lose everything. Thus the conflict.
BTW, I honor Sessions for being a man of integrity, but urge you take a look at how much that’s helped him here. His morals mean nothing because the left is fighting a war to knife. Once we’ve won we can go back to building good systems but until then if we fight fair, while they fight dirty then we will lose everything.

Actually I think the only mistake Trump has made is Pence. Pence boxed him in on Flynn and set off this entire chain of events. I believe he is not loyal to Trump. Notice how the media leaves Pence alone now?
