#BREAKING Attorney General Sessions to hold press conference at 4 pm et

The “Big Picture” is the one the MSM will paint. And they think they got a scalp here.
I was gone so just barely got in on the tail end.
you post like a McCain and Graham butt kisser...
ARE YOU? BE TRUTHFUL.
Sessions is a weakling and is easily bullied by the Democrats. He will resign by next week.
Another mistake by Trump nominating this clown. He should have gone with Giuliani as AG from the start. Now he will have to replace Sessions with some kind of compromise choice to appease the Democrats.
Somehow, the Democrats always win
Nothing like 60+ years of hard evidence to put that lie to rest! You are running through the place screaming at the hysterics when it is you yourself that is hysterical. We on the right like to use the term 'hold their feet to the fire' and every single time some apologist screams hysterics! Witness.
Today was freaking weak. Sorry if you don’t like my observations. Pathetic comparing me to McCain.
Okay, please explain for us all the positives from today, especially Sessions presser...We’re dying to know?
Cavuto interviewed Judge Andrew Napolitano and the judge even got on my nerves. Started bringing up the fact that although it would be hard to get Sessions on perjury, you could make a case for omission or something like that. He was giving Cavuto and the Dems more ammunition to keep this issue alive.
Fast & Furious (Holder lied under oath, gave guns to drug cartels)
Paid random to Iran
But if you watch fake news, wouldn’t know this!
100% of people who hated Sessions still hate him.
Press conference was a total failure and Trump’s media team must be FIRED.
Exactly. All caving in does is to piss off your base, and it doesn't win you any new fans.
You know I do too; however, Trump has overcome everything thrown at him...and he is a fast learner...I think Mr. Sessions and President Trump decided it was best that Sessions recuse and do a press the conference. Who am I to second guess and arm-chair quarterback what the big picture plan is...I don’t have the inside view either.
Remember, during much of the campaign, there was much worry and pearl clutching...
However, as it turned out Trump was playing 3-d chess when the majority of the media, democrats and frankly most Freepers were playing 1-d checkers.
You know what I think? The whiney hysterics on this forum do not know the difference between recusal and resignation and I think most believe Sessions has resigned.
FLASHBACK!
“Top diplomats from Russia met with 30 Senate Democrats to tamp down concerns over the [Iran deal]”

I hope you’re right. But I have a bad feeling about this one. This was a golden opportunity to put it to rest, and I believe now it’s only going to grow longer legs.
Do you believe Sessions’ position is stronger or weaker after this?
We have exactly one official in the DOJ. And he’s been kneecapped. There is nothing good about today period.
And like you, I expected much more out of Sessions.
I agree.
I guess all we can do now is move on.
I agree.
I guess all we can do now is move on.
Surprising to me that Napolitano would say that!
From personal experience, I have been deposed by opposing attorneys on 2 occasions, and my attorney advised me to answer questions truthfully, but narrowly...Don’t give more information than what is requested—use “yes” and “no” replies when possible...I was even given a DVD to prepare for the deposition that highlighted these points.
I rather think that is how nominees are advised before going before the Senate; and based on this, I don’t believe Sessions did anything wrong!
Look at my post #379—He did nothing wrong!
