Sessions is one of the most honorable men in Washington.
Its just amazing how the “no blood for oil” Left, without the slightest shame or sense of hypocrisy, are now the biggest fear-mongers and war-mongers against Russia - a nuclear power no less.

is not illegal and the the only thing they are trying to do is say he lied and must resign which will not happen.
1. So far the info is anonymous, but Sessions office isn’t denying it.
2. Very possible Sessions simply didn’t recall the meetings, but he has stepped into it by his statements to Congress. Not clear if those were under oath.
3. Pressure will be ramped up on Sessions now, to at least recuse himself from any Russian investigation, after Flynn actually resigned over a similar incident of contact with this same Russian Ambassador.
4. Situation is also similar to recent issue with AG Lynch who was caught meeting with Bill Clinton while Hillary was under investigation by the FBI. Lynch said they were only discussing grandchildren (although she has none), and she did not actually recuse herself from the Clinton investigation, but rather said she would accept the recommendation of the FBI.
5. Special Prosecutors are typically only ever called upon after there is likely evidence of an actual crime, wherein there is nothing close to that in this case. However, once they are put in place, they often go on fishing expeditions looking for anything illegal they can find, whether related to their initial purpose or not.
6. I think Republicans should follow the Obama/Lynch playbook, since it so recently happened with the Clinton investigation. No different than sticking with the nuclear option in the Senate for the current nominations. Democrats made those decisions for themselves, so those standard should be good enough for Republicans as well, so soon after Democrats used that same strategy. When they protest, remind them constantly, might even be able to get a few to admit it was a mistake.

One last item on all this... the fact obama was not held responsible by the media, by the dems, and not by the republicans... the fact he was given a pass... and I could care less what color he is... it does not give him the right to do all he did... The fact they went easy on him.. adored him... means they cannot do this to Trump!
I am seeing the awful things the left are saying about Trump from last night.. there was none of that when obama was in for 8 years... if we had, they’d have taken us off the air..and in this case, some doing this are media.
All this... the fact obama was given a pass, makes it. impossible for them to attack Trump like they have been!! It just makes me more angry at them and they must be losing more and more voters/watchers.
And the one who will take care of all this? I think God just might be stepping in.. if He hears our prayers... There is a prophecy (there are many, but this one seems to hold water) that Trump would be elected... written in 2012, and that the left would go after him, but the Lord would prevent any of their efforts to have any power over Trump. That the Lord put Trump in as President, because He heard our prayers and is giving us a little more time.
If that is true, then the left can go pound sand. It seems they prefer a lying piece of humanity, who is two faced and stands before the camera as a complete fake..
And on the otherhand, Trump stands in front of the camera, a man with no put-on and no fakery... he speaks his mind and keeps his promises.

He did not lie and this is not news, every Senator knew he had met with many ambassadors(25) including the Russian’s as a part of the Armed Service Committee. And the questions and his answers during confirmation hearings were understood to mean meetings outside these. The Propagandist MSM and all Leftist and their minions are simply going to use a fake story (Evil Russians and Republicans Traitors) to attack anybody in the Trump admin to stop Trump from making America Great Again. Sessions was a sitting senator at the time and served on the Senate Intel Committee. It was a perfectly reasonable expectation and within the norm of his duties on the committee. He did not have this alleged convo as a rep of the Trump admin.
