Mark Steyn was fired from CRTV.
Steyn talked about it briefly on his site.
Many customers have complained that they subscribed for a year expecting to see Steyns show which was cancelled after only one month and now apparently CRTV is unwilling to give these people a refund. Meanwhile, Mark Steyn Enterprises Inc. and Mark Steyn have filed a lawsuit against CRTV. We will have to see how this plays out.
.@joelapp Er, because I didn't know until they fired me.

Poor Steyn.... first having to fight the climate change groupies on the left and now, the Mark Levin ego crazy tv venture on the right. Poor guy can’t win... except in his fight for the freedom of the rest of us!
I received no reply and I am more than a little put off by Levin having representing to consumers that Mark Steyn was part of the deal when in fact he had stopped mentioning Mark Steyn soon after I signed up for a second year based in part on Levin's representations about Mark Steyn's participation in the show.
I have enjoyed Mark Steyn's presentations with the exception of his music and found his interviews to be valuable, fresh and relevant. I know of no apostasy that Mark Steyn has committed against conservatism either on CRTV or elsewhere. The manner of the firing smacks of the treatment of MacArthur and is beneath Mark Levin who owes people who are more than fans, who are paying consumers of his product, a complete explanation.
He owes consumers a refund if they choose to demand one.
Virtually on the same day that we learn that Steyn has been fired we are exposed to the first pathetic offering of the new Steve Deace show which was painfully amateurish. Mark Steyn's offerings were always first class. CRTV has been diminished by the exchange.
As to the replies on this thread and a companion thread by people who cannot stand Mark Levin because he has offered trenchant criticism of Trump when deserved and, to be fair, support when deserved, I note that the bulk of these critics boast that they have never seen the show. The show is excellent. Levin consistently defends conservatism and does so with impeccable logic and showmanship. Michelle Malkin has made contributions which have been absolutely first-class, of a quality to compete with 60 Minutes but from a conservative point of view. However, her offerings have been too few with the last important one having been about two weeks ago. "Louder with Crowder" is a young man who shows great promise, great presence and great wit but he appears as one who needs seasoning. I understand what Levin is trying to do with Crowder, to garner a younger demographic and I think Crowder can succeed, but he needs better production values and he needs better staffing.
Mark Levin is a national treasure and he should be applauded for all his contributions to the conservative cause as an author, as an active litigator, as a public servant in the Reagan Administration, as a crusader for the impeachment of Bill Clinton, as an early supporter of the Tea Party, as an innovator for conservatism, as a highly successful radio personality, and now, by all accounts, as a financial success in his television show. Above all, Levin is to be applauded for his clear eyed devotion to conservatism and courageous independent voice against the dangers of a cult of personality which threatens any movement if not opposed on behalf of eternal values.
I think Levin has committed a mistake concerning Mark Steyn, I think he is duplicating his obnoxious treatment of callers with whom he disagrees but I do not confuse hero worship of Donald Trump with conservatism, nor do I confuse conservatism with hero worship of Mark Levin.
Totally Excellent! Thanx for posting.
It’s a conumdrum that ML needs to explain in painstaking detail. Until I know more, I’m with Steyn.
Wow.
Very good interview.
One evening we were in the car and Levin came on the radio. He’s hard on the ears and finally my husband asked if we could change the channel.
On the CRTV FAcebook page, they tell you how you can get a refund.
Michelle Malkin is there.
Walter Williams is not a fan of protectionist trade policies.
What is at the root of teh dispute? Why did Levin and Steyn part?
Yes, he does, and that is why he publicly endorsed Trump.
When he talks about the “pom pom boys” he means those who blindly support Trump no matter what he does, even if it violates the principles we all claim to hold.
Supporting President Trump is a good thing. Blindly supporting him is a bad thing.
I will withhold judgement, which is shocking to me, as Levin has perturbed since the campaign started. it just seems the fair thing to do.
Proving, once again, that conservatives are their own worst enemies.
Seriously, Levin? Did Steyn not genuflect enough when you kept telling him you were in the Reagan Administration? Steyn say something positive about Trump?
Levin is dead to me after endlessly trashing Trump long after he’d secured the nomination, providing implicit support to Hillary Clinton until weeks before the election when, in a transparent attempt to be able to claim to his audience that he fought against Hillary Clinton when he never had, he went through the motions of support but only with caveats about how he’d hold Trump’s feet to the fire etc etc followed by more criticisms.
I never once considered subscribing to his TV show and when I saw he had signed Steyn and Michelle Malkin the news only inspired in me a sense of regret that I’d never be able to support their shows because doing so would have meany providing support to Levin too.
I hope Steyn does something now that let’s us hear his voice more than just on the occasional fill-in slot for Rush.

I dislike Levin so I held off.
Same here. Let's hope there's a SteynTV network soon, and he steals Malkin and Crowder away from The Big Dope.
Yup. You and me, and thousands of other former Mark Levin fans.
Levin and the CR conservative ratings, checklist conservatism, gave Sessions something like 78%; I thoroughly disagree. We have Larry Elder on before Levin’s show; LE is the man.
