What do you get for a $200,000 membership fee at Mar-a-Lago? A gigantic hole in the middle of your clubs lawn, apparently.
Were told that President Trump has begun building a large helipad on the grounds of his private club in Palm Beach, Fla., so that Marine One can fly in directly.
At the moment, the president lands at a nearby airport and transfers to a car for his weekly visits to his Winter White House, but that is causing too much trouble.
Were told the 40- to 50-foot-wide dirt pit on the west lawn is currently surrounded by bright orange construction posts. But club insiders say that members are willing to put up with the eyesore, because they hope it will reduce the traffic that is caused when the presidents motorcade rolls though.

What does “you didn’t build that” Obama say about building?
Enlighten us. How do you KNOW that? - Documented proof,
please.
Don’t fret...not the taxpayers...
That’s cool then.
When I was an instructor at Lakehurst, NJ, the students from the Expedition Airfield (EAF) School built a pad for George H. W. Bush at his families Kennebunkport, Maine home. I asked one of the EAF instructors about it and they told me it was common practice, every time there was a new president that requested it.

He said he doesn’t do vacations.
Thanks!
I hope so. Too much work and no downtime isn't healthy.
If they are building it then why the question on whether they would be able to use it once it's out of office?
It's a security issue. I'm sure some branch of the government is footing the bill.
I don’t know. Maybe if he has meetings somewhere other than the White House, there won’t be as many leaks. I’d guess there are listening devices concealed in every nook, cranny, and light fixture of the White House.
Trump told me that he kept some 'pocket money' about $50,000,000 in $100 bills, mostly for tipping.
If he runs short, he can get a refill from some shiek that is staying at his hotel or in the Lincoln bedroom.
Obama spent a million dollars a DAY on his travel and vacations, and you're crying about Trump pouring a concrete slab?
Have you forgotten that he's not even taking a salary?
Not crying about it at all. I want to know who is paying for it. Legitimate question.
bump
President Trump saved the American taxpayers $12 billion dollars in his first month on the job. That's a legitimate answer to your bs question.
