Amid an escalating fight with the media, President Donald Trump derided a New York Times advertisement that hasn't yet aired.
The president's tweet, sent from his personal account before 7 a.m. on Sunday morning, is referring to a 30-second spot slated to air during the Academy Awards show Sunday night. It is the newspaper's first television ad since 2010, not their first ever as the president suggested. The ad sews together audio-clips of punditry about "the truth" with the eventual conclusion that "the truth is more important now than ever."
The paper said the ad aimed to remind readers how costly reporting the news can be.

Just SWEET, the NY Slimes has to advertise on the Oscar broadcast.
I guess he knows the game now. What did they expect?
“the truth is more important now than ever.”

Finally, I agree with the NYT. I hope they’ll decide to seek truth one day.
New York Slimes are in no position to lecture anyone.
The New York Slimes avoid the Truth where ever they find it. The would much rather make up fake news, weaponized text.
"This is really expensive beer, woo hoo!"

Its a personal fight between the Times and Trump. Put aside for a moment that the Times news coverage of the 2016 campaign was openly biased in favor of Clinton and attacked Trump every opportunity it could. Forget also that Carlos Slim , the Mexican billionaire finances the Times and despises Trump. However what Trump will never forget is that a Times reported called his wife a whore, never apologized to her and remains a Times employee in good standing. It demonstrates the hateful heart of the so called publishers and so called journalists who work there. Fake news begins with amoral people. The Times can never be trusted by any decent person.
And then Bill Paxton had to go and die, ruining it for everyone.
Well at least the ads fit the audience.
I feel like
I’m the only viewer of Frasier who doesn’t wear a bladder catheter. It makes me kinda want one.
The Times talking about the truth? Wow. How Orwellian. White is black, freedom is slavery, 2+2=5. They must really assume the American people are as stupid as they treat them.
Yeah....how’s their incessant whining about Trump going to sound...and go over....against tributes to Paxton?
Not too well.
This is what they really mean. It was fine to sugar coat everything the liberals did. Now they must publish any unsubstantiated allegation and any fabrication of improper conduct by any conservative who dares reproach the voters will.
To summarize the lying media, truth sounds like hate to those who hate truth.
In TX, we have a description of the dancer: She looks rode hard and put up wet.(horse lingo)
So true.
