President Trump early Sunday tweeted that the race for Democratic National Committee (DNC) chairman was “rigged.”
“Bernie's guy, like Bernie himself, never had a chance. Clinton demanded Perez!” Trump added.
Former Labor Secretary Tom Perez on Saturday defeated Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) to become the next DNC chairman in a win for centrist Democrats.
The race, which split along establishment-grassroots lines, in many ways mirrored the divisive 2016 presidential primary between Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Hillary Clinton.
Sanders and many of his allies backed Ellison, the first-ever Muslim elected to Congress and a star on the left.
“Congratulations to Thomas Perez, who has just been named Chairman of the DNC. I could not be happier for him, or for the Republican Party!” Trump tweeted on Saturday, sparking a response from the new DNC chairman.

Of course, Ellison wont ever be denied anything ......even if he lost the DNC gig.

If Ellison won they establishment may have kept to their threats and left but the progressives will always come back. That’s my take on. It. The far far left never sticks with their threats. Next year they’ll still be saying how important it is to defeat Trump and they’ll be on the ground fighting for the “lesser of two evils”. Same is true for the Rethugs. They were willing to throw the election because their guys lost but had it been reversed the right would have been fighting so hard to beat Hillary. The activist on both sides are whores to the party and unless that changes you’ll never have true representation.

I’m tired of antagonistic tweets from the POTUS that have nothing to do with the office. When I extrapolate this to never ending, I don’t like what my instinct says about it and the potential of success on very important things. Maybe I’m wrong, but they are the same instincts that made me an early Trump supporter with an extrapolation to victory. Enough is enough already, isn’t it? Can’t someone whisper this to Trump before it is too late?
