Barbara Pierce Bush, the daughter of former President George W. Bush, will headline a Planned Parenthood fundraiser next week in Texas, according to a report from the Texas Tribune.
Bush is expected to be the keynote speaker at the Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas's annual Fort Worth fundraising luncheon.
President Bush pushed for anti-abortion policies during his time in the White House, but his wife Laura Bush has supported legal abortion in the past.
The announcement comes amid the continuing debate over federal funding for Planned Parenthood, which provides a variety of reproductive health services to women, including abortions.
Barbara Bush is the CEO and co-founder of Global Health Corps and called Planned Parenthood an "exceptional organization" last year in an interview with the New York Times. Bush also attended an event for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in Pari

Looks like a guest star from “Buffy The Vampire Slayer.”
As for Bush's Daughter, clinton's daughter or any other politician's child and their opinions...................WHO CARES! They're nobodies, raised to celebrity status because of who they were born to, not what they achieved.
Her belt is high, Not fitting or apt.
I was not referring to her clothing.
Probably while he was having a slow dance with Buffet at the Bohemian Grove.
Globalists wear boob belts. It’s been proven.
ASH WESNESDAY. She’s doing the dirty on Ash Wednesday ! This should be such a good opportunity to hold a proliferation protest. Wish I was in Texas...
The apple did not fall far from the Bush.
Given the massive increases in govt spending under the Bush administration, the “tax cuts” were illusory; moreover I would wager that the inflation tax more than offset income tax cuts. There are many major policy areas where he was an epic fail. Worse than the alternative? Maybe or maybe not. The small real conservative opposition was certainly more energized under the D president than under Bush. I do not see a massive difference between Bush and Obama tbh, except that maybe under Bush race relations were better.
Many of the most vocal Bush sycophants seem to have left this forum or retreated to the shadows. Makes me wonder if a few weren’t on someone’s payroll?
What kind of committed Christian raises a child with this worldview, and then has no comment? W approved plan B in the last years of his Presidency, and some here will not be aware that W as governor named a stretch of Texas highway after a prominent abortion doctor (IIRC, the late father of a Texas state Rep). Let’s not forget that the PBA ban was a joke, something on which $ and time were wasted, and that Judge Roy Moore later condemned.
Bush support for PPA is part of the family DNA. No one should be surprised.
Yes, old Prescott Bush, who had his bank shut down over his deals with the Nazis. So many facts about the Bush Crime Family the average American does not know. Their close relationship to the Clintons, and their plotting to take down DJT screamed the truth of who they really are, for all who cared to notice.
“Illusory?” How much did your taxes get cut?
Short-term, a few FRN’s. In terms of purchasing power, not so much. Saying my taxes went down in any meaningful long-term sense, in this context, is a bit like saying that my income went up because I deposited those “free” cash advance checks that the credit card company sent me into my bank account.
A real tax cut would be a spending cut, in our current budget mess.
Seriously, do nominal tax rate reductions account for all the other things that W did??
Apparently not. And I do note your misuse of the word, "nominal." In any case, I will refer some of my fellow supply-siders to this thread as an example of what passes for economic analysis these days. So I'm not going behind your back . . . I'm laughing at you to your face.
Wasn’t defending Daughter Bush. I am appalled about her involvement with Planned Parenthood. I was defending Dubya’s failure to raise her to be pro-life. I don’t think his pro-life views had a chance, given that Laura Bush is pro-choice, mainline Protestantism is pro-choice, etc.
