Barbara Pierce Bush, the daughter of former President George W. Bush, will headline a Planned Parenthood fundraiser next week in Texas, according to a report from the Texas Tribune.
Bush is expected to be the keynote speaker at the Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas's annual Fort Worth fundraising luncheon.
President Bush pushed for anti-abortion policies during his time in the White House, but his wife Laura Bush has supported legal abortion in the past.
The announcement comes amid the continuing debate over federal funding for Planned Parenthood, which provides a variety of reproductive health services to women, including abortions.
Barbara Bush is the CEO and co-founder of Global Health Corps and called Planned Parenthood an "exceptional organization" last year in an interview with the New York Times. Bush also attended an event for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in Pari

Bush senior dismantled Reagan’s legacy in 4 years. I used to think W was OK after all he did save us from Gore and Dukakis but he let the Rats & MSM destroy the GOP brand and set up 8 years of Obama. So the Bush’ s did a Lot of damage. So here we go with a daughter praising the biggest baby killers in the country. You add it up and in my view the country would have better off without them.

Well, GHWB was Reagan's VP as we all know, and NAFTA was Reagan's idea.
The Bush’s are what they are, really nice people who got into politics and said what they had to say (”I am Pro-Life”) to get elected.
What’s worse is that special interest groups that hooked themselves onto the Republican Party like an umbilical cord like National Right To Life and other “Pro Life” or Pro Family” organizations helped to spread the lie about the Bush’s and other Republicans.
