A video surfaced Wednesday showing HBO "Real Time" host Bill Maher condoning a sexual relationship between a 35-year-old female teacher and a 12-year-old male student that resulted in the woman getting pregnant twice before eventually being jailed.
In this video Maher was referring to the story of a woman named Mary Kay Letourneau who was impregnated twice by student Vili Fualaau, starting when he was 12.
"And by the end of the weekend, by dinner time Monday, he's dropped as a speaker at CPAC," he continued, referring to the Conservative Political Action Conference. "Then he's dropped by Breitbart, and his book deal falls through. As I say, sunlight is the best disinfectant. You're welcome."

I remember that Soap Opera. It’s still not over for those two. This is a woman who already had her own husband, her own children and a successful career. She threw all that away for her Boy Toy. There are some people, male and female, who can walk away from a seemingly loving, secure home, break off all contact with this family, then start all over again, with ‘no luggage’. The words loyalty and responsibility are not seen in the dictionaries of such people.
Well, she was kinda hot.
And there is a real, justified double standard.
He calls himself a Libertarian and he takes credit with pride in taking down a voice for freedom of speech and religion. If Milo was a Leftist like himself he would be objecting to his job loss. So with joyful hypocrisy Maher boast of causing Milo to lose his job. Well done Bill you creep.
I certainly do not condone Milo's lifestyle but I certainly defend his right to speak freely.
I detest Bill Maher. Twenty-five years ago I thought he was funny. I grew up but he didn't. Maher is an irresponsible child.
there is absolutely no justified double standard when it comes to full grown adults and minors having sex.
He was funny at one point. He just went on to become one of the most offensive men allowed on television.
‘Politically Incorrect’ was a huge influence on the political landscape. It started in 1993 and the idea of Senators arguing issues with rock stars on an ‘entertainment show’ would have been seen as absurd in an earlier time. It pretty much pioneered the nexus of politics and pop culture that we have now.
At one point early on it wasn’t a bad idea.
In time it became four to one against anyone with common sense that would still appear on the show. And yes, that’s kind of a conflict in terms.
By then it had lost all value.
They live near me in the greater Seattle area. They are still married and seem happy. So I'll give them that.
However, in a recent interview, she was dressed in a tight fitting cocktail type dress and he was in khakis etc. My read is she is still "kinda hot" but also a bit of a narcissus too.
And Maher is taking credit for ruining Milo, having appeared on his show a day or two before the organized resurfacing of Milo’s comments. Yet Maher’s defense of pedophilia was far more extreme!
Milo was mostly just describing how he viewed his victimization, but said he thought age of consent laws were “about right.” In contrast, Maher was arguing that 30 year olds ought to be allowed to make babies with 12 year olds. Wow!
Leftist outrage? Nonexistent.
Bill Maher is sometimes correct, like on the topic of Islam. But Milo is more often correct, and while they both say things I don’t agree with (to varying degrees) in the end, I would rather have Milo on my side than Maher.
Mary Jane Letourneau’s father was a Bircher and ran for the presidency. They tended to downplay that after she was charged.
It’s not the pedastry, pedophilia, and homosexuality the left has a problem with. They just recognize that these things are incompatible with conservatism and hope to drive a wedge.
