A group of law professors from around the country has filed a professional misconduct complaint against White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, a graduate of George Washington University Law School who was admitted to the D.C. Bar in 1995.
The letter, filed with the office that handles misconduct by members of the D.C. Bar, said Conway should be sanctioned for violating government ethics rules and conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation, the letter says.
The 15 professors, who specialize in legal ethics, cite several incidents, including a television interview in which Conway made the false statement that President Barack Obama had banned Iraqi refugees from coming into the United States for six months following the Bowling Green Massacre, and the use of her position to endorse Ivanka Trump products.
We do not file this complaint lightly, the professors said in their filing. We believe that, at one time, Ms. Conway, understood her ethical responsibilities as a lawyer and abided by them. But she is currently acting in a way that brings shame upon the legal profession.
The professors teach at law schools such as Georgetown University Law Center, Yale Law School, Fordham University and Duke University.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

We should not assume all lawyers are as hypocritical as these;. remember, only 98 percent of lawyers give the other 2 percent a bad name.
“We do not file this complaint lightly, the professors said in their filing.”
I bet they wouldn’t even file until they got cash money up front.
Someone once said that a lawyer who can’t make a living practicing law becomes a law professor. Makes perfectly good sense.
If the complaint is fraudulent (politically motivated), as we know it is, by signing it in bad faith each of those lawyers subjects themselves to disciplinary complaints to their own home state bars.
” We believe that, at one time, Ms. Conway, understood her ethical responsibilities as a lawyer and abided by them. But she is currently acting in a way that brings shame upon the legal profession.”
These guys need to find a mirror! If anyone brings shame to the “legal profession,” it’s college “law professors!”
However many hours Kellyanne must take each week or month to deal with this crap is that many hours she cannot help make American great again.
This is the purpose behind this of course.
“Identify them, hire investigators to find dirt on them and go after them. Hit one of ours, destroy five of theirs. Only thing they understand.”
Absolutely! The GOPe never goes after those who threaten them. Trump isn’t going to let that happen to him. As far as I am concerned, President Trump defines the “New Republican Party.” We need to do everything we can to remove those who are in the GOPe (aka “The Old Republican Party”). The stench on the GOP brand is like walking through a pig farm.
“...But she is currently acting in a way that brings shame upon the legal profession.”
Uh, No. They did that, themselves, over the course of the last 100 years of maliciously meddling in the political discourse of this nation, at a level beyond the accessibility of the average citizen.
Should she have mentioned Ivanka’s merchandise? No.
Did she have a malicious intent? No.
Was she attempting to fight back against an unfair attack? Yes.
Climb back up to your ivory tower, ‘professors’. We don’t need your pontification, or your slanderous suits.
We do not file this complaint lightly, the professors said in their filing.
Maybe, but not out of concern for “ethics”. More likely out of fear of blowback from those of us who realize this is simply political sour grapes. Keep in mind that nearly all Democrat—and Republican—politicians are lawyers. Certainly, these so-called professors hold the Democrats to the same ethical standards, right?
From what I understand, Kellyanne Conway referred to a “Bowling Green Massacre” that never happened. She subsequently said she had misspoken and was actually referring to the arrest of two Iraqis in Bowling Green on terrorism related charges. The left continues to poke fun at her, blowing her statement out of proportion. Her statement was wrong but terrorism is real—no laughing matter if you ask me.
The other issue was Kellyanne Conway’s remark during an interview to buy Ivanka Trump products. Given that she’s a brand new government hire who was disciplined by her boss, and this was clearly an off-the-cuff remark rather than a serious endorsement, the matter should be pretty much closed.
Probably most of them are queer or tranny or something like than. How many? Enquiring minds
They said nothing about bammy’s abuse of power.
Those “perfesers” sure hate PRESIDENT Trump. Haters gonna hate. This isn’t about Conway. This is about their hatred of Trump and the American people who voted for him. **** them!
Those who can, do. Those who can’t teach. The corollary is that those who can’t teach, teach teachers.
This is EASY TO FIX, Immediately REVOKE their Accreditation for being Assholes..
She should be “sanctioned”??? What does that even mean?
Not tired of the other side losing yet!
NTOTOSLY
And Barack Obama never proved his Constitutional eligibility to become President
Members of the bar made false comments, signed false affidavits, ridiculed those who questioned his eligibility
Where were all your “ethics’ then, Boyz?
No wonder you’re on faculty and not actually practicing.
