As Democrats head to Atlanta this weekend to vote on their party’s next chair, the race to lead the Democratic National Committee chair is coming down to its two leading candidates.
Rep. Keith Ellison (Minn.) has the edge over former Labor secretary Tom Perez in The Hill’s new survey of DNC members. But while both men claim they are close to securing commitments from the majority of the 447 voting members, neither candidate is assured victory.

And if Ellison wins in a squeaker tight race, does that cause a possible split? Then they will fight among themselves. This could set up another defeat in the 2018 mid terms which is crucial. So congress needs to get on the stick with Tax Reform and Obamacare repeal/replace.
Then Trump needs to ride a few Bulldozers down in Texas showing that construction of The Wall actually started.
I for one support the new DNC muslim overlords.
I think we have a Clintonesque squashing of all comers besides Ellison - a la Sanders. Not that I care. All of them are horrible people and will further sink the Democrats.
If Ellison wins, at least a few black Democrats will realize the party only wants their votes. When it comes to leadership, they want a Muslim.
