U.S. President Donald Trump's administration plans to consider almost all illegal immigrants subject to deportation, but will leave protections in place for immigrants known as "dreamers" who entered the country illegally as children, according to official guidelines released on Tuesday.
The Department of Homeland Security guidance to immigration agents is part of a broader plan for border security and immigration enforcement in executive orders that Trump signed on Jan. 25.
Former President Barack Obama issued an executive order in 2012 that protected 750,000 immigrants who had been brought into the United States illegally by their parents. Trump has said the issue is "very difficult" for him.
The Republican president campaigned on a pledge to get tougher on the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States, playing on fears of violent crime while promising to build a wall on the border with Mexico and to stop potential terrorists from entering the country....

Could be conjecture with a goal of leadng toward a certain narrative.
Reuters! Bah! Of course it is....(mumbling to self.)
I do. More cheap future labor for the cheap labor express.
Wouldn’t BO’Bs illegal DACA program expire in two years? In the meantime, no special assistance from taxpayers, no welfare handouts of any type. It might also help to state the DACA invaders must learn ENGLISH and assimilate.
This is unacceptable, and for me, it would cost me to seriously reconsider voting for him in 2020. This was such an important day one promise. He needs to keep his promise and commitment and rescind Obamas amnesty and the deport all of these illegal aliens regardless of how they came to be in the United States.
“Anybody else find this unacceptable?”
No. Losing.
He broke a campaign promise. Who can you trust?
Yes.
DAPA and DACA expansion were stopped by a lawsuit filed by the states.
No one sued to stop DACA, it continues on as if it were law and not something Obama made up out of whole cloth.
Very disappointed! Total letdown! Jam the WH phone lines or just shut up and put up.
The DACA work visas are only good for 2 years at a time they must be renewed...
all President Trump needs to do is stop giving the visas out and stop renewing them...
when the visa runs out the illegal alien is here without a visa and its time to leave...
we already have their names etc..and hopefully their fingerprints...
There4 are a lot of other illegal aliens to deport meanwhile...
If the DACAs think they have any kind of “right” to stay, and any respect for our country, they’ll act like they have good sense and go home and apply to come here from there...they could be allowed back in the correct way if they did that...but no chain migration...no rewarding their illegal alien parents...
If that’s not good enough for them out ya go and never come back...
>For all we know, they just were not at the top of the list and are considered low-priority until this other mass is dealt with, which would be fine for now.
More likely Trump knows the campaign the left is ready to run on the issue and how the dreamers concept is the only popular thing about illegal aliens so he’s leaving it alone for now.
Every undocumented alien is breaking the law. They snuck in, throw them out.
That is what should be done, but they are continuing to issue new permits and renewals as if Obama’s program were law, which it is not.
"Approximately 314,000 DACA recipients will lose DACA EAD authorization in 2017about 38 percent of all DACA applicants. Another roughly 467,000 will lose authorization in 2018about 115,000 of those will happen in the first quarter of 2018, meaning that DACA will be half over by March 2018."

Will they get renewed? We'll see. It's the natural way to wind down the program by letting them expire.
Under DACA they are being given SS#’s and work permits.
We'll have to see if he renews them. I doubt it.
Also, the whole system was riddled with fraud.
We'll have to see who is left when the smoke clears.
I think that’s the case. Illegals who commit violent crimes are at the top of the list. Lesser crimes (including identity fraud) are next. The ones who are otherwise not creating problems are at the bottom of the list.
No, the permits expire in two years and are being renewed and new permits are continuing to be issued as if it were law.
New permits need to stop today, at the very least.
