Hmm...so an organization that has openly and shamelessly suppressed conservative organizations wants to tell me how much I owe the government? What could possibly go wrong?

Abolish the IRS fund fed-gov via Tariffs ONLY like the good olde founders intended!

This is like putting Hunter S. Thompson in charge of the FDA.

It only makes sense to let the IRS do your taxes if they hold you harmless for their mistakes. Otherwise they’ll make lots of mistakes on purpose just so they can fine you.

I’m sure that the prep software will be just as reliable as the HealthCare.gov website.

require the IRS to create programs that help taxpayers process and file their federal taxes for free.
Turbo Tax has done that for years. And this year, the state return was free too.

Why doesn’t she introduce a bill that would have the IRS PAY my taxes instead?........................

We’re all hoping that the IRS will be eliminated, and we can send in that postcard tax form with our check. Think of all the money that would save for taxpayers!
To: SeekAndFind
How about just making it simple enough that anyone can do it on a post card?

Why not just have them take over vote counting, too? They can get the target numbers directly from their DNC masters and save time. :)

First step towards taking it out of your hands by law. Screw this Marxist phony. The tax code is tyranny.
To: SeekAndFind
I wish we would abolish the 16th (and 17th) amendment doing away with the Income Tax, and, replace it with a sales tax (absolutely not a Value Added Tax). The government should have no access to individual’s income amounts, sources, our medical records, our emails, and each and every personal record relating to us.
To: SeekAndFind
Frankly, taxes _should_ be automatically doable. If the flat tax were instituted - or at least the myriad of write-offs reduced to almost none, then a simple deduction could be done with every paycheck and all need for returns eliminated... along with thousands of IRS employees and tax attorneys.
But not nearly as things stand today.

Plus, it will require thousands and thousands (tens of thousands?, millions?) of new bureaucrats to be hired at taxpayer expense all doing the taxes for 320 million Americans.
