Another Anti-Trump story from the Washington Compost.
It’s the white sign that says “EXIT”. Use that door and don’t ever come back. I have quit jobs that were for companies that were doing things I don’t approve of. I found another gig and I walked. No fanfare, no grand oaths, I just removed myself from the situation.
The last time, I was contacted by two board directors to ask why I was leaving.. I told them. The CEO that was doing stupid things is still there. The new job gave me a 10% raise after thirty days. The company that I left has 8 fewer full time employees and at least four fewer part timers than when I left. They are circling the drain, some of my fiends tell me. Not my problem anymore.

Since the new boss is not a soft, cuddly mentor, but rather ‘get your butt in the field and do your work!’, I can only surmise that you have been working at the CIA, not with the intent of doing what is right for America, but doing what you would until it is your day to retire, without your butt leaving D.C., at all, and without one incident of hazard.

That’s why the new president got such a great round of applause that day, right? Couldn’t even stick around to see who the new CIA Director was going to be? I would guess from this they pretty much had things their own way for a long time and didn’t want the applecart upset! In this guy’s 30+ years at the job, how many different directors had he seen and he’d never bailed out? I see this as purely political - anti-Trump and nothing else.
There’s speculation on other sites that this guy resigned ahead of the leak investigation. That he may be one source of the anti-Trump leaks and by severing himself from federal employment investigators will have a harder time interviewing him.

Good Lord. Obama blatantly used us servicemembers as his personal political pawns in budget battles for his entire presidency, and this little whiner quits already? Good riddance.
