I've never been comfortable with Milo and if he actually said this then there is no place for him at Breitbart and I completely agree with the Breitbart editors.
Yiannopoulos questioned age-of-consent laws and suggested that minors as young as 13 were “sexually mature” enough for relations with adults. In it, Yiannopoulos said:

Actually there is a difference between the prepubescent attraction and the post-pubescent attraction.
Humpbert Humperbet in Lolita is a prime example of a pedophile, he had no interest in Lolita after she achieved puberty.
I don’t have a problem with men or women becoming sexually involved with post pubescent adolescents. I was married at age 16.
Milo also said he agreed with the current age of consent laws. If Milo is going to be condemned then condemn him for his entire statement NOT some cherry picked quote.

I believe this is a correct statement. There must be more that caused the kerfuffle. From this, it does not sound like he is being an advocate for underage sex.
I actually agree with Milo’s statement, technically speaking.
It is pedophilia when the attraction is to pre-pubescent people. That violates our society’s “norms”, which are just a cultural thing. I’ve felt for a long time that criminals should be tried as adults once they reach the age of around 12.
The Christian Bible is silent (to the best of my knowledge) on when one becomes a “woman” or “man”. I believe Jewish law does draw a line at something around 12, but I could be wrong.
If the statement you quoted is what all the fuss is about, regarding Milo, I retract my condemnation of him.
And to be really clear, I’m talking “technically”. Personally, I was divorced at 43 and when I tried to date a 27 year old I felt like I was dating a kid. I ended up marrying the woman of my dreams 19 years ago. She’s six days younger than me.
Milo said he used the age of 13 because that’s when he had his first sexual encounter.
He was abused by the clergy as a boy and has repeatedly spoken against pedophilia as well as outed three people for participating in it.

Except of course the actual quote doesn’t support the hit piece and in fact is an accurate description of the differnces pedophilia and pederasty.
Until I see or hear actual quotes of him supporting pedophiles or pederasts I’m not going to turn on him. I swear...the only time some Republicans really fight is against their own. If we had the same fury for the Democrats that are actual pedophiles that would be something.
