A recent Shadowproof interview with David Chibo on the deep state might provide some answers. As we learned, if there is a convergence between U.S. and British (and any other) intelligence agencies to take down a Western politician, it would not be the first time.

I haven't seen the movie, but the video certainly helps to make some sense out of nonsensical foreign policy. In some of the videos, Webb also talks about Kosovo-which I could never figure out back then, but makes sense now, in light of what's been learned-history repeats.
